RE: 14346382 John Whalen
Unfortunately I am not related and therefore not able to give you much information - just a volunteer who happened to record headstone information from that cemetery to Find A Grave website. I did link John and his wife, Catherine. Also, I did go into Ancestry.com and have listed their children from the 1900 federal census. You will see when you go into his memorial that both he and his wife were from Ireland; and some of their children were either born in NY or NJ. Still he could have been single during the Civil War and was in Vermont but couldn't find anything that connected your John to this John. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance. Marie

I am SO sorry about the delay in replying to your message. I really do appreciate you taking the time to check on the information I requested about my great-great-grandmother and great-great-uncle's headstones. I'm disappointed that there are no grave markers, but now at least I know.
Thank you for checking on that for me.

Thanks for the photog of their Gravestone! And, thanks for volunteering at Find-Grave; it's such a great resource when you're an out-of-towner! KBo

RE: Stiers
Hello Kathleen,
Thank you for your replies. I too have missed checking on messages on various websites, so I know how it is. I'm just glad to hear from you.
Thank you for checking on the headstones for me. It is sad that my great-grandmother Theresa and great-great-uncle William don't have markers. If I could afford it, I would like to get headstones for them. But in the meantime, people like you are doing a wonderful job of making sure that they are remembered by future generations.
Thank you again.
Martha

Photos of KIA Veterans.
Thanks for the photo.

I am working on gathering the KIA of World War II, Korea and Vietnam.

The name are listed in Vitural Cemeteries. The WWII of Colorado will be open for you to see today.

Have you ever used 'sidewalk chalk' on the headstone?

Hope to keep in touch. (we are all a bit crazzzzed)
