I grew up in Netcong, Stanhope, and Port Morris, N.J. When such a treasure trove of information was around me I could have cared less. After relocating to Florida, roots became important to me and information less easily obtained. I have researched Erbach, Hilts, Fancher, Niper, Bird, Duda, Stoll Find A Grave has made a whole new world accessible to me.I enjoy traveling and have visited Ireland, Hawaii, Alaska, Nassau, Mexico, and many of the continental US States.Through genealogy work and Find A Grave I have reconnected with relatives and made many new friends. Hopefully I have helped in some small way to preserve family history and a sense of connection with the past for future generations.
