I was born in 1947 and am originally from West Unity, Williams Co., Ohio. I have been pursuing my family history since the age of 12, with some significant breaks for college, work and family along the way. Most of my family groups spent generations in Ohio and southern Michigan -- among the names I research are Beatty, Kring, Blinn, Netcher, JoHantgen, Siegel, Schwanengel and Horther and well as others linked to them. My husband's family is from New Bremen, Ohio and the surrounding area. Among his family names that I research are Knost, Egbert, Dicke, and Ziegenbusch. I have created some Find-a-Grave memorials for family members and hope to link those to memorials others have created. I also try to add photos and biographical information to these memorials.
My husband and I moved to Charlotte, NC forty years ago and are now retired, so that I have more time to devote to my genealogical pursuits.
