Trolling cemeteries in the vicinity of Saratoga, Washington, Warren and Rensselaer Counties in upstate New York and occasionally venturing beyond. I've loved cemeteries since childhood ~ so most people think I'm nuts.|

|Roy Johnson||RE: Alice,|
I just want to say thanks so much, i cant believe that you went there and did that. I couldnt read the date before. I have been trying to find info on her forever. I need to verify her parents name, because nobody knows etc.., so, ill let you know. If your up for solving a mystery in the spring, associated with this, let me know. I would even pay you for your time if you can help me solve finding her first husband's burial place etc.. He was a Joseph Lewandowski (but may have a variance in spelling) who drowned in a river in broome county ny, with another man (possibly relative). then he was supposedly buried in schuylerville. he died between october 22 1891 (when he did his naturalization paperwok (renselear county county clerk) and 1892. Anna took the 3 boys to nyc and married a albert pohl, had 4th son John, then in 1908 married martin gronczniak. but cant find joseph lewandowski he was my great great grandfather
Thanks Roy Johnson
|ACunningham||Lorenzo Warren grave|
Lorenzo was my Gt. GT.Grandfather- I searched that cemetery at least a half dozen times looking for that stone! Thank you! It is funny, I just moved to CA (8 mo.), and now I get to see the stone! I also contacted you re: Teresa Banks Lewandusky @ St Mary's. Lorenzo was my Mom's Gt grandfather (Joseph Banks) on her Father's mothers (Elizabeth Warren) side.
I am Roy Johnson, member # 47897195. I am inquiring reference a photo you have for a martin goronczniak # 74443862 at st. peters cemetery.
He and his 1st wife Josephine are listed on the front, but on the back of the stone is his second wife Anna Goronczniak (my great great grandmother). I was there in 2005 and took a photo an didnt know it was her at the time, but now cannot make out the death date. Is there any way you might go by there and get a rubbing on the death date for me and let me know what it is? Also is there anyone there at the cemetery that would know to get more information on Anna Goronczniak? info on file at the cemetery? Thanks
|Kati McSweeney||baby Bennett @ Prospect Hill Cemetery|
Thank you so much for posting the tombstone photo of baby Bennett for my family and me. It is greatly appreciated!
I was hoping that the tombstone would have biographical info like "infant of A & G Bennett" or "infant of A & D Bennett" or birth or death years so I would know which of Augustus V. Bennett's two wives was the mother of the baby (first wife Grace or second wife Daisy). I did go ahead and link the baby to Augustus as father. The others in plot 163 with baby Bennett and Augustus are his widowed mother Sarah, spinster sister Lelia, and second wife Daisy. I'm still looking for Grace's burial place (she died in Saratoga Co., NY too). Grace, was my maternal cousin.
With heartfelt gratitude,

Thank you so much for posting the tombstone photos of my cousin-in-law Augustus V. Bennett and his second wife Daisy for my family and me!
Helping those who live so far away from their deceased ancestors and relatives is not only a selfless act of kindness on your part, it is also a cherished and priceless gift that you give to us.
May God bless you and yours in all your endeavors!
With heartfelt gratitude,

Thank you SO much for the directions to Robert Baker's gravestone. My husband and I visited there yesterday. More answers, more questions!!! Thank you so much for the wonderful work you do, and for going out of your way for us!!
|Heather||Hufstaders in Hudson View Cemetery|
Thank you so much for the work you have done on the Hufstaders! I was so excited to see the photos you took this week, even though you had no headstone for Rufus or Mary, there in the background was Kathryn Hufstader Nash. Kathryn is my 2nd great grandmother and I have had very little information about her. I had not even been able to locate her grave until today. Thank you, thank you, for this precious gift you have given me and my family.

Thanks so much for the great photos of the Safford (and extended family) gravesites and especially for the extra effort in finding those related people. I very much appreciate the time, effort and skill you put in to find, photograph and connect all those family members!
