George F. Frazier, 75 of Priddle Point Road, Mayfield went to be with his Lord on Monday September 5, 2011. He was born on April 14, 1935 in Rutland, VT. The son of the late George and Alice Brausseau Frazier. He was a graduate of Little Falls High School class of 1954 and a graduate of Fordham University class of 1959. He was a United States Army veteran serving as a medic in Frankfurt Germany. He worked as a pharmacist for 40 years in the Johnstown and Gloversville area. He is a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Gloversville. He was a part of the Fulton County Art Association and was locally known for his watercolor paintings and his love of the arts. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time and mentoring his grandchildren at the lake. Survivors include his wife, Dianne Goodwin Frazier whom he married August 18, 1978; his children, Christopher J. (Michelle) Frazier of Gloversville, Christina A. Frazier of Bend, Oregon, Kathleen G. (Joseph) Papa of Johnstown, Deidre G. Yusko of Mayfield and Jerry (Tammy) Fries Jr. of Johnstown; one brother, Robert T. (Pam) Frazier of Long Beach, CA; one sister, Alison Frazier of Venice, FL; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call on Thursday, September 8, 2011 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the Gloversville Funeral Service, 4 Second Ave., Gloversville where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will be held in the Saratoga National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church, James Street, Gloversville or the Lewy Body Dementia Association. (Old section) St. Peters Saratoga Springs Hi Alice, did you know the County Historian's office in Ballston has a CD video of all the graves? That set aside, thank you for posting my grandmother's marker (Caroline Milligan). I can fill you in on who is in the family. At the time we were up there, I did not know my great grandmother had remarried and her stone is in the picture right behind grandmother's. (Street). The church could not tell me why my great grandmother's large plot on their map has someone else's large tombstone on it or why grandmother is buried between some rows.
