Bio Photo I am Nancy (Mills) Burr and grew up in Nichols, Iowa. I am familiar with many that are buried in the Nichols Cemetery. I am also very familiar with the Lone Tree, Iowa cemetery. case of then vs now. when he was born in 1863 there was no such thing as czechoslovakia (as shown in his 1930 census), which was created after WW I from austro-hungarian empire territory.

for 1920 he listed Bohemia, which was also part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, not sure if it was supposed to be a country, or just a region

his 1910 census listed Austria.

his 1900 census he went back to listing Bohemia.

Bohemia is not listed as an available country, so Austria looks like the closest thing.

Hi. Marcella was my uncles 1st wife, she was killed in a car wreck while he was at sea with the Navy in 1944. I have added a picture of her & was wondering if you could possibly move it to her info (1st) page so it will show when someone looks up her name. She was a very pretty girl. Gone way to soon. I saw your memorial on Jonathan Carl. My husband's g-aunt was Rachel Carl married to Jonathan's brother. She remarried Robert Hamilton buried in the Troy I.O.O.F. Cem.We are trying to locate her burial place. Her name was Rachel Munn Carl Hamilton.She would have died possibly around 1915?? Do you know anything about her burial?
