Bessie Leona Morgan
Memorial# 113770889

You have her listed as Bessie Leona Sechrest Morgan. She wasn't a Sechrest. Bessie was a Morgan by birth as well as Marriage. Her mother Mattie Morgan married Sechrest after Bessie and her older sister were born. In talking to some older relatives who knew them (she passed before I was born) the father of the older 2 girls was unknown to them.

Gaston Hunsucker is listed with the wrong parents. His parents are George Hunsucker and Elizabeth Williams.
Andrew and Clarkey have a Gaston but his dob is 1855. I know of this confusion because there are 3 Gastons and we were going crazy placing them about 15 years ago.
Andrew and Clarkey are my ancestors.

Sylvia Brown 1920-1920
Hi, Do you have access to cemetery records for this cemeetery? If so, I hope you can tell me who the parents of Sylvia Brown 1920-1920 are or at least are buried close to her. Thanks for the help.

PVT. TRAVIS BROWN (1826-1865) OF SOUTHERN RANDOLPH CO., NC, HUSBAND OF LINA CRAVEN
I noticed you've photographed Pleasant Grove Christian Church Cemetery in Randolph Co., NC. I'm hoping to find the parents of Travis Brown (1826-abt 1865), who lived with his wife Evelina "Lina" Craven and had five children with her: Sarah, Winny, John, William Joshua and George W. Travis Brown was in Company H, 44th Inf. during the Civil War and likely died during -- although records available on Ancestry.com do not seem to list him as a casualty or a return. His wife Lina died about 1870 at 40 years old. I can't yet find either Travis or Lina in a Randolph Co. cemetery, although they lived in Southern Randolph County and many of their family are interred at Pleasant Grove CC Cemetery. I tried plugging in parents for Travis based on guesses from censuses (William and Sarah, George and Marah) to see if Ancestry leaves opened any new doors ... but so far, it's a dead end. If you can help me find Travis's parents or burial site, I'd love to know. Thank you for what you do.

You are very welcome Polly. That is one of the most confusing things I have come across. I do not know how anyone could keep it straight, without literally looking at each stone. Have a good week.
