I am from Plant City, Hillsborough County, Florida ,and since 1968 I have lived in Poquoson, Virginia.

I graduated from Plant City High School in 1963 and I am now mis-placed in Virginia due to my
marriage. I do Miss Home.

Genealogy has been my passion for years and it is time comsuming because I allow it to be.

My ancestors from Mother's family are Blanton, Morgan, Cameron and Fulford.
My direct line of Blanton's came to Virginia from England in 1676. They migrated to
North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and North Florida in Madison and Taylor County.
Some of the Blanton family moved to and settled in Hillsborough County, Florida

My direct line of Fulford's migrated from Pitt County, NC, to Southern counties in Georgia.
They then went to North Florida in Taylor and Madison Counties.
Some also moving down to Hillsborough County, Florida.

My Father's ancestor's are Sanders and Stevens from South Georgia.
My direct line of Sanders came to Virginia about 1650 from England,
and moved south to North Carolina and on to the southern part of Georgia,in and around Wilkinson County.
Some moved on south to PLant City, Hillsborough County, Florida
The Stevens are from Wilkinson County, Georgia. Some also moved down to Plant City, Hillsborough County, Florida.


I located Find A Grave just a couple of months ago and it is wonderful extension
to genealogy. I am in the process of finding family Memorials that are already on
Find A Grave. The contributors have been so helpful and nice in transfering these to me.
I have been linking families with parents, spouses, and children, and adding photo's.
I think it is helpful for others that may visit, to know the Memorials as families.
I also have been adding family Memorials that are not on the Find A Grave site.

My quest continues with my Genelaogy research and Find A Grave.
