Just curious how my photo ended up on here as "submitted by Julius Redmond"? I posted it years ago as it is of my two great grandmothers, Mary Theresa Bang Devers Dudley. and Mary Miller Williams Westfaul. Also on it is A.G. Dudley, my step-ggrandfather who married Mary Bang Devers after her first husband died. Her first husband was John Lawrence Devers and my grandmother's father who died in 1872.

RE: John Ira Reeves, Sr.
Thanks for the information. I will have to take some time and start the search again. I have just been overloaded over the holidays and have not had much time to follow the trails of ancestry. I remember when I was younger that there was a small family cemetery deep in the woods near one of you uncle's homes. This is in Benndale. I would like to try to make my way to this cemetery while it is cooler weather to avoid snakes. As I recall, I do not think there were too many graves, but they were relatives to the Mizell family, possibly Mixon family. Most of the Mizell and Mixon families are buried at Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery, but I suppose these were buried before the cemetery was established there or either the family just buried wherever they wanted on their property. This small family plot is located in Benndale near my Uncle Coyt Mizell's home. He still lives there, but is in his 80s in a fragile state, so he would be unable to take me to the cemetery. Maybe one of his children would remember and could take me to this cemetery. I will put this on my "to do list" for the new year.

RE: John Ira Reeves, Sr.
Okay, thanks! I did find a William C. Reeves and his wife, Mary Ann "Polly" Copeland Reeves in William Reeves Cemetery on here. On Ancestry.com, John Ira Reeves, Sr., has a wife listed as Lydia "Liddie" King Reeves, but she is not buried in the same cemetery as him. It states she is buried in the Reeves Family Cemetery, but when I check there, no one is listed by that name. It says someone walked the cemetery in 2008 and checked all the gravestones. At that time, there was no gravestone for anyone by that name in that cemetery. I checked other cemeteries in the Benndale/George County area, but came to a dead end. Poor lady, I really wonder where she is buried. Maybe she has an unmarked grave and they assume she is buried there. Thanks again for your help. Kim
