I am 80 years old, married to my lovely wife Bonnie , have six children, 18 grandchildren and 8 GGgrandchildren and 1 GGGgrandchild. After retirement I started searching for my ancestors and got hooked on cemeteries. They are like a good book, a great place to find history.|

What a great service you are doing! I added the section and plot to her memorial. I think I have the information somewhere in "my stuff". When we visited the Walker graves we had to go to the city office to get the location. Thanks again!

I think this is my daddy's brother. Can you please tell me what the inscription says? I can read some but not all. I hope to visit gravesites in Mississippi this spring/summer. Thank you ever so much.

Duplicate memorials for Sarah Cumbest memorial#52814993. It looks like you created yours first. The Stone was in place first with out her body. She passed on the 5th of July of 2011. The duplicate memorial# 72947392 by Linda Eills on July 6th 2011. And is for Sarah Ruth Elswick Cumbest. I believe they are of the same person. I am a distant family member by marriage. Thanks Joe

Thanks for the information. I will have to take some time and start the search again. I have just been overloaded over the holidays and have not had much time to follow the trails of ancestry. I remember when I was younger that there was a small family cemetery deep in the woods near one of you uncle's homes. This is in Benndale. I would like to try to make my way to this cemetery while it is cooler weather to avoid snakes. As I recall, I do not think there were too many graves, but they were relatives to the Mizell family, possibly Mixon family. Most of the Mizell and Mixon families are buried at Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery, but I suppose these were buried before the cemetery was established there or either the family just buried wherever they wanted on their property. This small family plot is located in Benndale near my Uncle Coyt Mizell's home. He still lives there, but is in his 80s in a fragile state, so he would be unable to take me to the cemetery. Maybe one of his children would remember and could take me to this cemetery. I will put this on my "to do list" for the new year.
