I am researching "Nichols" families in Christian County in the early 1800's. My ancestor was James Nichol, m. Rachel Sheridan. Their daughter Juliana (Julie Ann) married James Madison Martin in Christian County Aug. 1837.
Do you know of James Nichol, b. cir 1790, probably in Va.?
Any leads you can give me on this family would be greatly appreciated.
RE: Hodgdon /Long Suzanne, You're very welcome. I just recently acquired Deborah's parent's memorials from someone leaving Find A Grave. Since they are a part of your family, just let me know if you would like them transferred to you. Gram
RE: Julia Smedley I went to the cemetery this afternoon and found the Smedley Family plot. There is not Julia Smedley, but there is a Juliana Smedley. I have photographed all the headstones on the site and am posting them now. Pat
