I live in Norman, Oklahoma just south of Oklahoma City and have lived here since 1952. I got started with FAG after being on a weekend jaunt to Texas finding family graves and hit an impass on one. Went online, found FAG and a listing for the cemetery I needed and had success. I realized I might be able to help someone the way I was helped so I joined up. I love the solitude searching for requested resting spots, even tho I can only do it on weekends. I keep my granddaughter during the week, and after being given a bouquet one day I realized it was easier to do without her along!|
Please feel free to use my pictures in any way you need! That's what they are here for, family and friends and friends of friends!!!

I fulfilled the photo request for Bob Zink. However, the temporary metal marker is the only one there. A permanent gravestone is not there yet.

It is the Rock Creek Road Cemetery , but I don't necessarily need the transfer, although I'll take it if you want.

a/k/a Edgar Morefield Dodson... You found my grandfather. Thanks for the picture, however, he was born in 1886 not 1866... his father was born in 1865 so.... LOL
I have a photocopy of the State of Arkansas, County of Crawford page #296 where he obtained the Marriage License to marry my grandmother, Claudia Spears and it shows him to be on that date, November 5th, 1908, 22 years old.

I was just trying to fill you in. I saw where you were not sure where Maude Mayes fit into the Whistler's.
|Deidre Stevens||Maude Mayes Whistler|
She's buried next to her parents in the IOOF in Norman, OK. Leo Whistler Sr who is buried in the El Reno Cemetery was her husband.
