Bio Photo Hi, I've been researching my family from Cambria Co., PA and Brooklyn, NY on and off for over 25 years and I just love it. My first experience with cemeteries was finding a plot that had 15 family members buried in it. From then on I was hooked! I hope what I've found can help someone find theirs. Jack

Have walker will travel. I thought I'd try a short, quick little trip, but for the most part, I'm staying put.

Yes, that is what we did today until the rain started. We'll have to go back another day and look for the rest.

Sadye Jayne Panizzi # 90598309
Hi -- Last summer I walked all of St. Joseph's in Derry, Westmoreland County, PA and couldn't find this headstone to fulfill your photo request. Today I'm in the cemetery watering flowers I planted at my grandmother's grave; while I'm walking back to my car, I inexplicably spot the marker of Infant Sadye Jayne Panizzi. I remembered her as one I couldn't find last summer, so I photographed & posted the marker to her memorial this afternoon. Better late than never and sorry I missed it in 2014! Wishing you well.

9732694. Please remove the death certificate you added. I know they are allowed, but I think cause of death is a very private thing, and it really disturbs me to see it. A private family tree is the place for such intimate details.Thank you.

RE: St. Bernard's-Indiana
I must have gotten the Strittmatter's confused with the Stadtmiller's as there weren't extra Strittmatter's like I had thought.

Anyhow, I found all of the Strittmatter's that you wanted except for Thomas. I went to the office and I can see why people have issues with the staff. Walking in there, I thought I walked onto the movie set of Deliverance. I was waiting for the banjos to start playing. The office looked like Slingblade's lawnmower repair shop.

What was more disturbing was the fact that after looking in their interment record book, they had no record of Thomas, but the caretaker remembered him being buried there. He called two people on the phone, both of which remember the event but were no help. I can see if this happened in 1909, but this was 2009. Scary...

Yessiree ... Time to upload some photos I took last fall, and gather a few more while the sun is shining and the weeds haven't grown too high.

RE: St. Bernard's-Indiana

St. Bernard was stop 3 of 3 today, but after the first two, I had to turn back. It was a little too much on the knee. I'm going to do my best to get out either Monday or Tuesday and make St. Bernard's my priority since those are my last two days off before the fun starts this coming week. I'm usually extremely reliable and expect the same from others and don't want to disappoint you so again, I'll try again in a couple of days.
