Well hello there. I am so glad you could drop in and welcome. |
This page is dedicated to my Daddy and my son, Mike.
On my Daddy side---CARTER, COX, CARDWELL, and HAWK families.
And as Daddy stated one time, whatever else you shake out of the trees.
I have been working on my Daddy side for over 30 years.
Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so love the peoples who treat you right, also for the ones who don't,(pray for thoses) and believe that everything happens for a reason (ROMANS 8:28). If you get a chance, take it. It can change your life, let it.(JOHN 3:16)
For all who has left messages, flowers, notes,etc. for my son, Mike, it has not gone unnotice. My precious friends, I thank you for remembering my son this way. You all are in my thought and prayers forever. I love you for this kindness.

I just noticed that a memorial I had set up for Amanda Moore Johnson says that you created this memorial... When did you do this? Everything on that memorial was my work. I took the photo of cemetery.... I supplied the photos of Amanda and her tombstone. I found and typed in the obituary... How did you take this memorial?????

Hi Pat, don't know if you are still on or OK, if so, Thanks for all you have done! Truly a Blessing!
|Allie Nelson||41954002 Capt.John Hardin|
I noticed that the memorial for John Hardin states that he was in the Battle of Lookout Mountain. You have that he died in 1788. The Battle of Lookout Mountain took place in November of 1863.
I believe you mean the Captain John Hardin (1736-1803), of VA, whose southern campaign took him into Lincoln County,NC. His memorial is out there,# 73730511.In fact it's out there twice. Yours is the third.
Here's hoping you might delete it.

Pat, I noticed that there are a duplicate on Thomas Jesse Murphy, and Elisha Rodgeford Moore in the Mount Mariah Methodist Church Cemetery. How do we get rid of the duplicates?

Is Mt Mariah Cemetery a huge place? I am looking for Anna Lou "Lulu" Langley who died 13 Aug 1927 Athens, Claiborne Parrish LA and her death certificate says she is buried at Mt Mariah Cemetery but she is not listed on this site and I can't find a listing of anyone buried there on other sites. I assumed she didn't have a marker or the cemetery was so large that not everyone has been entered on here.
her husband should also be there but I don't have a date of death for him so was hoping there was a stone with info. Lewis Benjamin Franklin Langley.
Appreciate your offer to help.
|lybrown||info on Taylor E. Lane|
I saw on Ancestry a link to Find a Grave where my ancestor, Taylor E. Lane, was listed as being buried in the Pioneer Cemetery in Greenville, AL. My records indicate that he died in Danville, Va, where his sister had moved with her husband and children. I have a picture of his tombstone in Green Hill cemetery in Danvllle, VA. I was wondering was the source of the information that he is buried in AL. (The dates on this site do not exactly match the information I have on his birth and death either.) Thank you.
