|Bio and Links|
I live in Salem, Marion County, OR.|
I truly enjoy genealogy and love to share my information.
I try to link as many relatives together as possible to tell the historical story.
My family names are to name a few:
There are some memorials I've made, who are not directly related to me. I will be happy to transfer these, if you are related.
Now that Ancestry.com has purchased FAG, I'm hoping the general attitude about who has the most memorials and pictures will lessen.
It's not about the numbers its about preserving our historical past & family!
This is a wonderful website for people researching their ancestors and without these crucial links, we would run into many brick walls!

Carroll Tollett - Find A Grave Memorial# 56785955
You sent me an edit to change his mother and I am wondering what data you have to confirm it. I see him in the 1940 census, born about 1912, with parents Joseph and Tirzah Tollett, but I see that Edna Ragsdale may have married Joseph Tollett in 1909 according to information in her bio on Find A Grave. So, I see where it is possible that Edna was his mother, but I am having trouble finding marriages for this family. Would you please explain what data you have to show that Edna is his mother, thanks.

I will be going to Hancock Cemetery later today and will look for Walter and Lettie Ann Townsend. They are in Block A Lot 11.

The problem is the info was sent to me from Contributor #46906238. Theree was a time when I documented who sent the info, now it is not that easy

You are very welcome. I thought you might enjoy the picture of the three stones together to know the order they were buried in. The stones are in amazingly good shape for their age. Mary

sorry taken so long to get back to you. I have only begun to research my Barton/fulton side of the family. I did see that in the 1850 census Samuel mennis lived next to John and Lucia barton and they lived next to Johns brother James and Angeline
I don't think there are any family marriages.
sorry I couldn't be more help.

Glad to help. Was sadden to hear that when the dr office took over the old church bldg they paved over graves for parking lot. I was told that the stones that were removed were placed in the basement off the office. I found many names not recorded. I would like to know if true . I live in Tennessee was visiting, shame if info was lost.

Joseph & Hannah Hiland as well as Basil & Isabel Ruby are listed in Florence Marshall's cemetery reading. Sorry, I don't have the details for her books on De Kalb County Cemeteries other than to say there is a copy at the De Kalb County Historical Society, from which I got this information. The only entry I'm unsure of is Sarah Overton Ruby's because of her divorce from Baxter Ruby it's unlikely she's buried with him, but she may still be in the same cemetery. By the way, Joseph, Hannah, Basil & Isabel are buried in the same plot as Clyde & Matilda Deming Ruby.
