You're very welcome. Did you also get the return email with the other info about the memorial?

Irwin Grave, Draper Cemetery
I found records at the Draper Cemetery in Draper, Utah for your photo request, however, there is no headstone at the plot. I'm sorry about that, but I did take a photo of the location for you. I also took photos of the record on the directory. If you would like me to email them to you, I would be happy to.

Barbara Longbrake
I found a Barbara A Krouse wife of J. Is this the one you are looking for? She died 6/10/1864 22 y 5 m 12 d, but then there is an older Caroline Longbrake wife of J 8/1/1870 60 y 6 m 9 d and Elizabeth A daughter of J 2/22/1868 3 y 11 d. Let me know if this is the one you are looking for. Cemetery is about 5 miles from me.

RE: JOHN GETCHALL
Hi Trish

Emailing a file to the email address listed, if you don't get it, please let me know.

It is a transcription of what graves were found there about 12 years ago, he is not listed on there either.

It does mention, some blank stones also and where they are located if associated with a family.

I see that there are 3 John Gatchell/Getchells's on Find A Grave listed for that cemetery, and they all died 1771. I have the photo of the Capt. John Gatchell died May 10, 1771.

Is your John Getchell that of the Capt. John Gatchell I have a photo of?

Look at the whole cemetery listing, not just Getchell if you haven't. They vary throughout with the spelling of an 'A' or an 'E' and if you just look up Getchell they won't show up because no soundex search.

Will send that file now Trish.

RE: JOHN GETCHALL
Hi Trish,

I sent you actually 2 emails, I see you didn't receive them, and they never got returned to me so I don't know what happened.

My message was that I had clicked on fulfill for John Getchall, but then realized it was the wrong John Getchall.

Once I did that your listing was gone and wouldn't go back up even though I deleted the photo right then that I was fulfilling once I realized.

I asked you to please request again if you would like. But I walked the whole cemetery and took photos of each stone. I went back and looked through all my photos and there was none for your John. Some of the stones are just unreadable, or their are just stone markers. It is really overgrown with ferns.

I don't know if you have or not, but I posted 2 photos for the cemetery, but I don't think they are just coming up when you click on John, I will go take a look. If not, for now, I will post a general photo of the cemetery for you.

Some good news though, I have heard in researching that the Historical Society has plans at some point to get access made for the cemetery, currently it is a hike through the woods because Brunswick Naval Air Station came in to that area and have the road locked off with signs still that say area prohibited. They have shut down now, but there are things still going on in there. Also they want to have a "family reunion" and clean up the cemetery, identify all the stones etc. I just don't know when that will happen.

I do want to go up there again 1 more time before cold weather, I will look again, but I was pretty thorough, I will bring some rubbing materials for those I cant read to see if I can get a print.

So sorry for the confusion. Is your email the same as it is listed? My email is a business email, so maybe you took it as spam or something.

I want to scan and send you an article that was in Downeast Magazine, I think the August issue. It talks about the Gatchell Cemetery and what is going on. I'll do this from my gmail account.

For now, please request a photo of him again. I will click on problem to note that I couldn't find him in my search, but to leave it open.

Please ask me any more questions you have, or about anyone else in the cemetery that you may want to know about.

Thanks Trish,

Lee-Anne

Sturns in Woodlawn Cem. 3
Ugh, gettin' old I am. I forgot t0 mention that I found another Sturn in another part of the cemetery. I made a Memorial and uploaded photos for
Florine L. Sturn 1899 - 1900 #117379423.

She obviously died very young and wasn't sure if she was related to Norman or not. Thought you would maybe find this information useful.

Yikes! I must have accidentally hit send in my previous message. :-O

In fulfillment of your request, I have uploaded photos for:
Christine R Zerman Sturn 108386335
Norman F. Sturn 46607970

As you can see, Christines's date of death is not yet inscribed. If you would like, I will check the next time I am in Woodlawn and replace her photos when the inscription is completed.

Incidentally, My wife and I were at the Outrigger in Ft. Myers Beach in July for my daughter's beach wedding. Small world.
