Born & grew up in northern lower Michigan, now living in eastern Iowa. Amateur genealogist for 13 years and have traced my Polish ancestors back 5 generations. Especially interested in the Kolaski-Nowaczeski and Skiera-Budzinski families of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. I enjoy cooking, needle crafts, gardening, reading history & science, playing piano and attending St. Louis Cardinals baseball games with my husband. He and I share a bungalow with an adorable tom cat named Reuben (he owns the house, we just pay the mortgage).
