Bio Photo I GREW UP IN ROOKS COUNTY,KANSAS. MY PARENTS WERE BETHYL(FRY)& E. K. BIGGE OF STOCKTON- THEY MOVED HOUSES. MY GRANDPARENTS AND GREAT-GRANDPARENTS AND GGGRANDPARENTS ALL EVENTUALLY SETTLED IN ROOKS COUNTY,KS.
I STARTED MY GENEALOGY FASCINATION AS A SOPHMORE IN HIGH SCHOOL WHEN WE HAD TO "DO" OUR FAMILY TREE FOR A SEMESTER GRADE. I WAS FORTUNATE WHEN I STARTED AS SEVERAL OF MY GREAT AUNTS AND UNCLES WERE STILL LIVING- SO THEY HELPED FUEL THE FLAMES THAT ARE STILL BURNING TODAY- THE THING I HAVE REALLY LEARNED IS THE MORE YOU LEARN THE MORE YOU WANT TO KNOW IN GENEALOGY.

No I don't have either Obits. Would love to include them in my tree. I sure appreciate all you have told and done . I just love to hear about the stories of past relatives. Thank you so much

RE: Edith Hager
Her oldest sister Florence (they called her Cookie). She passed back in 1970. Aunt Edith and Aunt Alverta came several times up here to Montana to visit when grandma was alive. Aunt Ivy just passed away not too long ago, I hadn't seen her in decades, since Uncle Cleo died. I have many of her painting though passed on to me from my mom Oteka and her sister Donna. I have a lot of letters that Aunt Ivy wrote to mom clear up until mom passed away almost. I also have a lot of baby and children pictures of Shirley (though I have never met her) and my mom as they were pretty close to the same age. Thank you for the information , its always nice to know things about our ancestors.

RE: max
OK, I've added a photo request for Memorial# 37820950 - wife of Max

If you don't still have that photo, then you could go to this link:

http://image1.findagrave.com/photos/2010/335/37820959_129134606610.jpg

and save the image you originally added, and then add it to Memorial# 37820950

Since you added the photo to begin with, I would rather have you do this, and not someone else, namely me!

I hope this makes sense!

Any chance you could also add your same photo added to Memorial# 37820959 for Max Thieler, to his wife's - Memorial# 37820950 for Kathryn McCormick Thieler? If so, I will add a REQUEST FIRST, to give you credit. Please advise. Thanks much!

RE: Freede memorials
I am a genealogist with these individuals in my tree, albeit not a direct line. I am assisting a fellow researcher who is direct relationship with the Fredde family. She's having difficulty locating information and is trying to recreate her late family's genealogical work that was lost in a flood in 1998. Any and all help would be most appreciated. I know how challenging, but fulfilling and heartfelt replacing lost family treasures can be. That's how my husband & I came to take up the hobby which has become a life passion... his father's life's work was carelessly "tossed" out after his death by an uncaring individual and we sought to replace it. We've been able to do that and extend it greatly through the assistance of others. This is my way to pay it forward. Thanks for any help you can provide.
