|Jack||David Arthur Woodley # 129645160|
You state that he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Woodley. Do you know the middle name or initial of this Richard Woodley?
I have a Richard O. Woodley (1861-1949) and a Richard R. Woodley (1831-1885), both of whom died in Iowa. The wife of Richard R. Woodley was Jane A. Darling (1843-1925). I don't know the name of the wife or Richard O. Woodley. For neither do I know their children.
Is this David Arthur Woodley (1882-1949), the son of either?
Any help you can provide will be appreciated.

They are very similiar, probably related. I do have obits for Henry and his parents all buried here in Platte to verify his parentage.
I also have the VanderHamm family history which says they lived in Iowa until 1910 when they moved to Platte.
The first family that you referenced was a little older. Wilhelmina would have been 51 when the Platte Henry was born. I suspect John and Chas/Carl were brothers. The history says Carl emigrated in 1868 with his parents, brothers and sisters.
Henry's daughter, Evelyn, still lives here in Platte. She married my cousin.
