The majority of my research is long distance and Find a Grave enabled me to obtain information otherwise unavailable to me. The generosity of others, adding memorials and photos, resulted in my decision to become a volunteer.
When I fulfill a request I try and take the surrounding headstones - I find that they are more than likely to have a memorial, but there are times I have to enter the memorial. If you find they might be yours, request a transfer and I will make it so.
I have been working on genealogy for about 35 years. My main research is the Pennsylvania area.
You may use my photos for your family history with my blessings!
I am tracing Siters; Bowers; Clouser; Kirk; Rush; Powell; Quay; Shurtz; Sollenberger; Schmidt and many others.
If you see any errors please let me know. It will be taken care of ASAP.
Several memorials that I have created on Find A Grave are non-relation. If you are family and wish to maintain their memorials, please send me a request through the edit tab on their memorial page and I will transfer maintenance to you. If you have additional information or notice a need for any corrections, please send the information through the edit tab on their memorial page.
Jensen, Nancy Robin Your page for Nancy R Jensen is a duplicate of the page 87285076 for Nancy Robin Jensen and places her in the wrong cemetery. Since there is no clear boundary and she is on the edge it is hard to tell, but she is not part of St. Joseph's Cemetery but is located in the Mary's Block of Woodland Cemetery.
RE: Richard and Pamela Leigty Woops. In transcribing the newspaper obit, it says he died as the result of injuries received in an accident--nothing about an automobile. So, my apologies for saying "automobile" accident. Can you please correct the note on his entry. Thanks.
Gerald P. Maretich - Calvary Cemet would you please remove the obituary you posted to this gentlemans record. It is not allowed by find-a-grave and it lists living relatives which is also not allowed by find-a-grave. Thank you.
RE: Abbott Haha. Your description made me laugh. It's your call, of course, and I'm sure that purity would be pulling their OCD hair out at my answer, but you really thought he would be interred soon, so creating his memorial in the SVNC made sense! But now that we know both dad and brother are still unburied, well, I think you cold leave it as internment pending, and even add the dad and brother as internment pending, or you could change their status to "cremated, location of remains unknown". Since he family has publicly declared their intent to interview them at this specific cemetery "at a later date, I personally would keep all 3 of them here and note in the "Note" area that burial is planned but has not yet happened. Hope that helps. Please pardon any typos. I'mean one-fingerings it on a small phone screen. :)
