PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO POST COMPLETE DATES IF THEY ARE NOT GIVEN ON THE GRAVESTONE. |
I am, however, happy to post maiden names.
Please, unless you are the legal copyright holder, do not post or ask me to post copyrighted photos (taken from obituaries or other sites) on memorials I've created. Being the legal owner of copyright means that (1) you yourself took the photo;(2) you were given explicit permission in writing from the person who took the photo; or (3) you bought rights to the photo and have the paperwork proving your claim. FindAGrave policy (see their FAQ) prohibits such postings as violations of International Copyright Law. The only exceptions are for excerpts of old obits for which the copyright has expired.
Regarding birth and death dates, I am from now on posting only dates that are on the gravestone, assuming that is what the deceased or deceased's family intended, so PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO POST COMPLETE DATES IF THEY ARE NOT GIVEN ON THE GRAVESTONE. As FindAGrave FAQ states, this is not a genealogy site but a site where gravestones are recorded. Since info regarding a specific birthplace is often used today in security questions, I will no longer post exact birthplaces. Data on FindaGrave has in the past been used for purposes of identity theft is a real problem & I don't want to cause anyone the grief of having to sort out that problem.

|Roseanne Kocinski-Fowler||RE: Batinich, Bateinich, Majernik, Berchok, etc. etc.|
used rootsweb site that contained only a listing of name/dates to each cemetery in Allegheny County. I am in no way familiar with the cemeteries locations. I would gladly transfer each memorial but I would need a listing of some type with name/memorial# and which cemetery to transfer to.

Thanks for the wonder photo of Martha Small. You do wonderful work.
...for the recent edits. I really appreciate the help you have given me in working out the many translations,offering the additional research information and the various spellings of the ethnic surnames found in the memorials & burials located thru out Jefferson County !! Your help is simply invaluable to all the many researchers searching for their family & ancestors. :)

Thank you so very much!
|Richard Boyer||Mary Steck|
Are there two Mary Capp Bowan's. I assume Mary Steck was the daughter of Mary Bowan (1868 - 1940) and John Bowan (1859 - 1942). The Mary Capp Bowan listed was born in 1907, after Mary Steck was born.
Thank you for posting the Seaman grave site. Here is some additional information if you want to put on the memorial and family links:
b/ 4 Nov 1894 d. Nov 1959
married Mary Greiner (b. 1894 d. 1925) on 23 Jul 1920
His parents were Michael John Seaman Sr. (memorial #26225644) and Mary M Bainos( other spelling - Banas)
May I have permission to include my family grave photos in my father's legacy book?

We plan on taking photos of Arthur and Katie's headstones in July. I'll send you Katie's when after we do that.
You can write to me at my email address instead of using the public messages if you wish.
