I am doing family research on surnames: Eikenbary, Carter, Wilson, Reed, McGinley, Huwaldt, Meade, Thalken, Roberts, Ross, Glendenning, and so on. When adding to this site, I like to add as much information as I can find. In most cases I try to take a picture of every tombstone in the cemeteries I have visited. Found out if I didn't, later on they may have been "family".

My photos of tombstones maybe used elsewhere, just reference you found them on FAG, so other people may find this wonderful site.

HOWEVER a request should be made for "person" photos - not just submitted to another site as if they were your photo. I do use/visit other sites.

C. K. Stillwagon
Hi there. Thank you very much for all the edits that you sent. I have accepted all the edits for Emma however, in regards to C. K. Stillwagon, I didn't accept them all.
I didn't accept the DOB because as there is a 2 year difference between the edit you sent and what the marker says so I left that as is. Also, I didn't accept the edit to change the "K." to a "K," as I add periods to all names that are in initial format (I want to be consistent in how I enter initials plus there are periods there in his name on the marker).
In addition, I didn't enter his name as "Charles" but left it as a "C." as this helps to avoid duplicates as you know that can surely happen, lol.
I did changed the first initial from a "G." to a "C." as I knew it could have been either one (hard to read and had noted that in the bio section as well) but glad you found some information about Charles.
I did add all the edited information you provided and added them to C. K.'s bio section so that anybody doing research can see and I also gave you credit as well. I thought I'd let you know about this. Keep up the great work fellow Findagraver and thanks again! :)

Sossman children in Homestead Cemetery
Since the Death Certificates state Homestead and their parents are there, I suggest you go ahead and add them to Homestead Cemetery. Then you can link them to their parents.

RE: Thank you for photo
Hi. No thanks necessary, it was my pleasure. One day, I intend to complete Zachary Taylor National Cemetery.

Thanks for your message.

RE: 49316217 / Willis Richardson Slaughter
Unfortunately, I don't. The pictures I posted are not a quality I would do anymore. Back when I did them I was the only one doing photography at Arlington and I would try to get as many pictures per trip as I could. Some like these were cropped out of a larger picture where I was focused on a different marker.

If you would like to put in requests for all three Slaughters please do. I won't be back there for a couple weeks but there are many other volunteers now and new photos should show up quickly.

All I ask is that if you put in request, you let me know as I'd like to remove the old photos so the other volunteers don't get confused by seeing a picture already on some of the memorials.

Ewen duplicate
Thanks for drawing my attention to that duplicate. I am working with the other manager to remedy.

RE: Isabella Frances Patterson

So she was probably a cousin of some degree. That makes sense.
Thanks, Carolyn

Thank you for that info on John K. Patterson's 1st wife, Debbie. I have that her maiden name was Campbell. Do you know anything about that?

Anna C Johnson #55380020
Debbie, I am researching an Anna MNU Johnson, 1877-? who was married to Frank E Johnson, 1872-?. They were in Garden County in 1920 census. They are in Chappell, Deuel, NE in 1930. They had 7 daughters. I see you have established many, many memorials in the area so doubt you have any personal relationship to Anna C. If you have any info, please contact:

Suggested edits for Laura McCulley
I appreciate your suggestions of edits to Laura McCulley's memorial (Find A Grave Memorial# 59610984). It made me realize that I had been negligent in completing it. Unfortunately, not all of your edits were as complete as I'd have liked, so I did some research and now have a complete memorial for her. Look at her memorial to see how her life sadly ended.
