I am doing family research on surnames: My interest: FATHER side; Eikenbary, Carter, Schropp, Roberts, Marks, Boswell, Crawford, Williams, Landis, McClure, Groff, Webster, Stillwagon, Young, Cassel, etc. MOTHER side; Wilson, Melton, Reed, Whitney, Rees, Greg, Gray, McCully, Emerson, Myers, Finlayson, Arcott, Wiles, Wells, Barker, etc.
My husband's interest: FATHER side; McGinley, Thalken, Sheridan, Franken, Keenan, McKinney, Beines, etc. MOTHER side; Huwaldt, Rieck, Golden, Feuring, Roberts, Groeber, Schmidt, Jamison, Wiese, Gropper, etc.
When adding to this site, I like to add as much information as I can find. In most cases I try to take a picture of every tombstone in the cemeteries I have visited. Found out if I didn't, later on they may have been "family".
My photos of tombstones maybe used elsewhere, just reference you found them on FAG, so other people may find this wonderful site.
RE: Arvid Benzen updated Thanks for posting his obituary. It just might make someone happy to find his obituary. I wished everyone that I type in an obituary would take the time to copy & paste it to their memorial site but there are people that won't. A loss to that family that is searching. Happy Easter!
RE: Pain family in Bridgwater Thank you Debbie. Wembdon is the forgotten Cemetery. Little, if any, maintenance was carried out when the council closed it. Graves are in a terrible state of disrepair but a group of volunteers are trying to bring some restoration work to it. There is still a lot to put back together and photograph, so you may find more family in time. Regards Janice
Owen Reed Booher - #14230303 Thanks for your flower on Find A Grave, as I'm researching my tree, Owen would be a 2nd cousin 1x removed. I'm migrating to RootsMagic and updating my source citations through templates. It allows those searching for family members through Find A Grave to properly provide acknowledgment for those who create the memorial and to the photographers. Thanks for all your support to the Find A Grave site and helping those searching for family members.
Frank Watts Hi You sent an edit to link Levinia Watts as his mother. The Minnesota death records show his mother is Ida. Plus, Levinia was born in 1864 and Frank in 1877 which would have made her 13 years old when he was born. Based on those factors I've declined the link. If you have other information let me know Leslie
