Thank You very much for the transfer of Olive Pearl (Smithline) Cotton Findagrave.com memorial at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Vancouver, Washington. I have been sadden by her recent passing, but cherish the opportunity to be part of the preservation of her memory. I cherish my memory of meeting her at the Bicentennial Ceremony on 23 June 2012 at Veteran's Cemetery in Seattle, Washington, honoring our Ancestor, Butler Emery Marble.

Hi - My name is Bill John Douglass and Walter R. Douglass is interred in Willamette National Cemetery. He is my uncle and his brother is William Charles Douglass, born in Boston, Suffolk County MA and he lived in Seattle WA. Their father was Joseph Patrick Douglass and he was in the Spanish American War with Admiral Dewy at the battle of Manilla. His MOS was Senior Master Chief Gunners Mate. He and his second wife Victoria are buried at the Presido National cemetery in San Francisco. I am a Korean Veteran and my son Brian J Douglass was a missile technician aboard the nuclear submarine USS Ohio.
