|My name is Melody.|
I am a single parent of 2 and I live in Virginia.
I started doing this because this site has assisted me so much in finding my ancestors so I could create my family tree.
I am researching the BUCHANAN'S, ASHBAUGH'S & HABERSTICH'S of OH & PA, WHITTENBERGER'S of PA, the RIGGS' & the HASTINGS'of NC, the CRIGER'S of VA & MO, and the Briley's & the Richert's of MI, and the Roetker's & Knepfle's of OH.
All this research and detective work is right up my alley, I think I missed my calling.

Thank you for posting your photograph of Eliza (nee Walton) Boler's headstone. She and Wesley Boler were my great-great-great-grandparents. Your efforts creating memorials and posting photos of headstones will help many researchers over time.
May I use your photograph of Eliza (nee Walton) Boler's headstone in my genealogy?

Hi - I see you're researching the Haberstich families in Pennsylvania. I have an extensive family history (well-sourced) that goes back all the way to William, Donald & Cindy Haberstich's great-great-great grandfather Bernhardt Haberstich who left Switzerland to settle in Pennsylvania in the mid to late 1850's. I'm happy to share all of this with you, including photos & documents. Just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. :-)

Added the info to the transcription. Thanks for sending the info, I always like to know who is in the unmarked graves. : )
When are you coming back up this way? We have over 80 cemeteries on the Camden site now and you might know of some I can't find or that I don't know exist.
Thanks I found the ones you mentioned plus more. I will be adding them to my site: http://camden.lostsoulsgenealogy.com/ and you can find the cemetery listings here: http://camden.lostsoulsgenealogy.com/cemlist.htm
I am working on straightening out all the Forbes that you have listed in the Forbes Cemetery on Pond Rd. Some of the ones you have listed there are in other cemeteries. If you want we can email and get everyone put in the proper cemeteries and I can add photos for the ones you need.
Next time you come this way let me know and maybe we can get together and I can show you where the various Forbes are buried.
Good Morning. I am also researching the Buchanans along with the Widdowsons. I would love to have any information you might would share. My direct email is email@example.com. Thanks in advance

I will definitely do that! Thanks for the transfer. :-)
|Kathy Hughes||Riggs & Forbes Cemetery|
Received your messages about the two memorials I created are duplicates of ones you have put in. Sorry about that. I've been having a time trying to find the 139 burials listed under -
Forbes Cemetery, Riddle
North Carolina, USA
Cemetery notes and/or description:
Pond Road, west of Sandy Hook Road.
Entries from a 1961 cemetery census
So far I have found 115 of the 139 burials in five different gravesites. Oh yes, it has been quite a bit of driving around looking. With some burials still not found, there is going to be least 6 gravesites listed under the one Forbes Cemetery. People have asked me to find their relatives and I'm having a time doing that.
I will remove the two for Cornelius Riggs and Ruth Riggs. No problem. Could I ask you to please put some kind of note of where they are physically? On your memorials? They are at the Forbes Cemetery that is behind 768 Sandy Hook Rd. Pond Rd is maybe a mile or two away, off Sandy Hook Rd. Or, maybe, put your memorials under the Forbes Cemetery - 768 Sandy Hook Rd? It would help.
By the way, would you have a copy of this 1961 cemetery census?
|Diane Siniard||Scotland Cemetery|
Could you please send me the directions to the Scotland Cemetery? I would like to photograph it and put it on my Camden County Genealogy site. The Scotland Cemetery link is: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2356666&CScnty=1665&CSsr=41&
The link to my Camden site is: http://camden.lostsoulsgenealogy.com/
I don't have many cemeteries on it as yet I have been concentrating on Pasquotank and Perquimans, but since the weather is cooling and farmers are harvesting I am hoping to get out and get many more posted. You can email me direct at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks in advance!
|Kathy Hughes||location of cemeteries|
Thanks for getting back with me. I love that old picture of your family. I looked up Riggs and there was Cornelius in Forbes Cemetery, Riddle.
Oh, how come your Bio picture is laying on its side? First time I've seen that.
Why is the cemetery called the Forbes? Shouldn't it be the Riggs? Or Bray? Just wondering. Do you remember the Ervin (Tommy) Cartwright, Jr photo? And what the address is on that one?
Your great grands' gravesite sounds like one that I would want to stop first at the house, if access goes through their yard.
