My sister and I were doing genealogy research on our family when she came across this website. Due to hurricane Katrina I had stopped doing my research but she continued. I felt that as a pay it forward type of deal I should become a volunteer for this website. I had no idea how quickly this would become an addiction. It is just as thrilling to locate something for someone else as it is for yourself!
