THERE IS A HEAVENLY GARDEN, by Otis Rainwater
Sometimes God picks the flower
That is still in bloom
Sometimes the rosebud's chosen
That we feel He's picked too soon
Sometimes the flower is fading
With petals floating down
But God knows the perfect time
To gather flowers from the ground
There is a heavenly garden
In which God takes great pleasure
Because He's placed within it
The loved ones that we treasure
He walks among the blossoms
Giving them eternal rest
And I know that it must please him
Because He chose our very best.
Used by permission. The perfect time for Otis to pass from this life came November 4, 2010.
Otis Boyd Rainwater

You may certainly transfer any Dueases to me that you have on here. I'll be happy to oversee them.
|Barbara Rains||Jonathan W. "J.W." Weaver|
I have some additions for this gravesite. Jonathan was born in 1800 in North Carolina. His parents were Jonathan Weaver (1774-1838) and Melesent "Milly" Skinner (1776-1838).
His children were Mark J. Weaver, b. 22 May 1833,in Morgan, AL and died in 1923; Anna Weaver, B. 19 Sep 1833 in AL, died 1923; and Stephen Weaver, b. 16 Oct. 1837 in AL and died in 1884.
His siblings were: Obedience Weaver (1802-1849), born and died in Edgecombe, NC; Benjamin G. S. Weaver b. 1804, died 1880; and William Ward Weaver, b. 1806 in Nash, NC and died in 1880.
His wife's name was Feraby. It is listed as Fareby, which is incorrect.
Jonathan was my great grandfather. I appreciate the help here. Thanks so much.

Thank you Wayne, I appreciate you contacting me about Edith's obit. I found some for her children and husband, but not hers. Are you related? She was my Dad's aunt and I never knew that she existed until I found her on a census.

Thank you Mr Wayne for transferring James, Sarah, Pearlie & Maudie Alvis' memorials. You make family tree research much easier. Your pictures are very clear as well. Carry on young man.

Thank you, Wayne. I'm new at this. I use find-a-grave often to add details to my ancestry family tree, and I figured it was about time for me to tend to my immediate relatives' virtual graves.
Thank you for including Daddy's grave. Are we related? Mutual Brownsboro roots?
