THERE IS A HEAVENLY GARDEN, by Otis Rainwater
Sometimes God picks the flower
That is still in bloom
Sometimes the rosebud's chosen
That we feel He's picked too soon
Sometimes the flower is fading
With petals floating down
But God knows the perfect time
To gather flowers from the ground
There is a heavenly garden
In which God takes great pleasure
Because He's placed within it
The loved ones that we treasure
He walks among the blossoms
Giving them eternal rest
And I know that it must please him
Because He chose our very best.
Used by permission. The perfect time for Otis to pass from this life came November 4, 2010.

Wayne, Who ever gave the info. for the head stone probably assumed his middle name was the same as his father Benjamin Haywood Moorman(Morman). I visited that area and talked to a lot of the Morman's a lot of which is dead now, I am just glad I got to meet and talk to a lot of them before the information was gone. My grandmother used to tell me a lot of stories about their history when I was young but I didn't realize if I had wrote it down it would be valuable to me now. Thanks again, Robert

Thank you so much. I've just discovered this site. Junior is my dad. I still have a few people from his family I need to find. It's going to take a little more digging to find them. Two are in California, one is near Austin and there are two that I have no idea where they are (very young when they died). If you choose, you can transfer any of them to me. The last of the ten children just passed away Wednesday and after finding this site, I have renewed interest in gathering information on family.
