Hi. My name is John Higgins Van Horn. I currently live in Carson City, Nevada, however, I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.

I come from many old American families, some dating back to the early 1600's. My most recent ancestor that immigrated to this country was my fathers mother, Grace Harriet Mackey, in the early 1900's. I love my ancestors and have had a hoot researching them and learning about them and I very much enjoy this website. I like the simplicity and the ability to connect family members.
