Married, mom of 2 girls. My family is spread far and wide; unfortunately, we probably don't know that each-other exists. I have watched my already small family grow smaller with each death. |
Trained and have worked as a funeral director, I know that life and family ties are more fragile than glass. Find a grave may help find family along with family history (yours and/or mine).
When I post a new file, I do my best to complete the file as much as possible. Most of my information starts from our local on line newspaper: democratandchronicle.com. Any additional information most likely comes from the info available online from the funeral home the family used for final disposition.
The files I create, generally, will not have punctuation (unless in the name) or be abbreviated. If I am looking for a file so to avoid duplication, I search for full first and last names (primarily by cemetery, secondary by date).
Unless a person is listed in my Virtual 'Family Plot', I am generally more than willing to transfer ownership. Any pictures I have taken/posted may be used on ancestry.com, etc.

Hi, I found some army photos of a Phil Ladato in my father's (Harold Charles Bishop) army pictures that he put Phil's name on. He said they were buddies in the Army. Phil was in Company F in the 399th Infantry. They were friends with PVT. Jack Stults and PFC James Newman was from Etowak, Tennessee and SGT. Ambrose Pat Krakafsky and SGT. Dian and T/SGT. Siscd and PVT Hyman Krakofsky, he was from Chelsea, Boston, Massachusetts. Could Phil be the one you wrote about and could any of these men be people you have heard about?

|Jessica Gramkee||Memorial for Roy Patterson Jr|
Could you please transfer the memorial of Roy Patterson to me (# 71976378). He was my Uncle. Thanks
|Paul R||RE: Mt Hope Cemetery|
I will ask FindAGrave to merge the memorials (in about 30 days to give the owners time to do something if they want) so that none of the gathered information will be lost.

I took photos of every stone in the Holy Cross cemetery today in Gowanda and there was no Frank Juhl.
Something I notice. Check out this cemetery, it is in Farnham where he was from and there are many Juhls' there possibly he just is not listed yet?
I am pretty sure now he is not at the Holy Cross in Gowanda so if you want to take him out of there.
|Jess E. Bromley||Thank You|
Thank you for the transfer.
|Jess E. Bromley||Bromley, Sage and Stuart|
The information I have submitted for the above named families comes from the book Bromley Genealogy by Viola Bromley copyright 1911 and are all descendants from Martin Bromley #66617604 to Catherine Bromley Sage #41359325 to Imogene Sage Stuart #55000420. If you do or do not use any part of this information in their memorials is for you to decide.
Thank you very much
|Irish Lass||Joseph Schmitz|
Thanks for adding the photograph of Joseph Schmitz's tombstone. I appreciate it.
|Jeff G.||Fred Simpson @ Irondequoit Cem.|
Thank you for the photograph of Fred Simpson's grave marker.
Do you remember if anyone was buried next to Fred, or if there were any other grave markers in the lot? One specific person I'm interested in Fred's wife Dorothy, who was born in 1927.
