Bio

I have been researching my family history since 1960 and my husband's since 1966. What a boost it is to find records here that we have had difficulty locating! Thank you to all of you who take your time to research and to share your findings and photography skills.

I am in the process of adding my relationship to the biography of each of my entries. Unfortunately biographies written for each of the people listed here are being removed as they have been taken and used without credit given to the original source. I would be glad to share information when requested.

Photos
With the exception of John H Gordon b 1827, the photos I have contributed are here to be used by any who wish to do so with reference to the original source by name as noted. George Sharp III is a contributor of many of these photos. Gary Wells has contributed some of them. Mybappy, a cousin on Ancestry.com has also added photos to our collection. Others are from my personal collection: inherited or taken by me. We are grateful for each source and share with enthusiasm but feel that those sources need to be recognized.

Family members
These memorial pages with a few exceptions are of relatives that fall within the guidelines of Find A Grave. We prefer to keep the management of those of family, but are perfectly willing to add pertinent information to the memorial and give credit for its source and to transfer those who are not in our direct lineage.

Adding of Memorials
Please remember that adding a memorial to FAG can be a part of the grief process for family members. When adding from the obituary column that sometimes precludes that family's ability to do so. Give them a week or so before adding their family memorial.

Transfers
Transfers are made within Find A Grave guidelines. Special consideration may be given to some who fall into a close sideline relationship if they are not direct ancestors of ours so feel free to ask.
