|Edmund Burke said "People will not look forward to posterity, who never look back to their ancestors." I do believe that is true and have been dabbling in genealogy research on my husband's and my families for about 40 years plus I have a library science background. Between the two and the love of solving puzzles, I love research of any kind. When I found this site I was excited because it is easy to use, has a wealth of information on ancestral burials, plus it's free! I love this site and am on it every day searching or adding information. I will keep working and seeking more information to help our family trees along, plus help others as I can.|
Thanks for this wonderful website!

Thank you for your follow-up Lois. Wayne and Matthew Pickett now look good - I am actually related to Wayne. Thank you so much. Sometime when you have a chance, can you add a link on Wayne's memorial (# 65502702) to his wife, Goldia I. Pickett's memorial(# 79451646)?
Thank you for the Frank Prochaska updates. I need to clarify - his check name was Franta not Frantisek? It's my understanding Franta was a nickname for Frantisek. Thank you.

Lois Jennings is a long way almost 1 1/2 from me. No guarentees when I will get there again. I would look at the Jenning cemetery and see if there is another contributer closer. I know there are several people in the area. Deb

I would appreciate knowing which cemetery he is in so it can be corrected. I did not place him there, Elliott did. I will gladly rectify and then transfer to your care. If there are any others that are related, please let me know. I have been trying to do this. Thank you, Geraldine #47309755

I am looking for help with Pickett's in Oak Hill Cemetery, Ballard, CA. There is a memorial (#79451646) for my great aunt Goldia Pickett. I am looking for her husband Wayne William Pickett, my grandmother's brother.
I found a picture of his grave marker, but it is attached to Memorial #65502702, under the name of Corporal Matthew William Pickett. I don't know if the name on this Memorial is wrong, or if just the wrong picture is attached. If there is a Corporal Matthew William Pickett in this cemetery, can you detach Wayne's marker photo? Otherwise can you correct the name on the memorial?
Thank you very much for your help in sorting this out - your work on Find A Grave is greatly appreciated.
