Edmund Burke said "People will not look forward to posterity, who never look back to their ancestors." I do believe that is true and have been dabbling in genealogy research on my husband's and my families for about 40 years plus I have a library science background. Between the two and the love of solving puzzles, I love research of any kind. When I found this site I was excited because it is easy to use, has a wealth of information on ancestral burials, plus it's free! I love this site and am on it every day searching or adding information. I will keep working and seeking more information to help our family trees along, plus help others as I can.
Thanks for this wonderful website!

P.S. Please use the "Edit" button to add obituaries, biographies, etc. I will gladly add them!

Memorial # 147626392
Hello - Is there a source for the edits on Mrs. Anna (Schmitt) Prante? If so could you mention it via her SAC? I did process her maiden name as I found a marriage announcement.

RE: St Martin.s Catholic Cemetery
It is around Cameron. Maybe her memorial has not been entered. Try entering it without an "S".

RE: Schmidt
My Woodford County Schmidts were originally from Ostfriesland and moved on farther west after initially being in Illinois. If your Schmidts were of Ostfries origin, we could well find some common ground. If not, Schmidt is not a very unusual surname so there may be no connection at all.

Dominic & Katerina
You did a beautiful job on redoing Dominic and Katerina. I am glad it is all under your name now. You have been a great care taker of our family.

I will never understand what his problem was.

Thank you so much for being so gracious in this situation.

later Cuz, Faye
