RE: Related
No luck with the relative I thought may have the obits. However, he had a compilation of various newspaper articles and other obits if you are interested. I had the same info but not in the organized fashion he has. Let me know if you would like a copy.

My ancestry site is under Withington, Dale, Dow, Seeley. Pelton. I have the Trans entered or at least as much as I knew at the time.

It appears I do not have those obits. My computer died a year ago and I managed to back everything up, but I can't check there as I don't have a new computer to put the info back onto.
Been using my Ipad which is good but not for this. I went thru my papers and didn't find any thing.

Yes, we are related thru the Seely's and the Howards both. I am descended from Catherine Seely Dale, daughter of Alvarous and Namncy Smith Seeley. I see the Trans are descended from George Alva, Catherine's younger brother. How do you fit in?

Charlotte Smith Howard was the sister of Nancy Smith Seely my great, great, great grandmother.

I live in Wisconsin but lived in Grafton OH 1984-2001. My son still lives there so I get there often and try to stop in at the cemeteries to check on things at least once a year.

My sister does the site but I can also. Like you I haven't updated for some time.

I have lots of info on the Smith side and have been in contact with other long lost relatives across the country. One in particular may have the Tran Obits. I will email him and see. My direct e-mail is You can use that instead of this site.

Cynthia Brand Ferrier & William David Ferrier
My great-great Grandmother, Cynthia Brand Ferrier was born in 1809 in New York, married William David Ferrier in 1832.
They lived in the Pickering, Ontario area, Cynthia died in 1875 and is buried at Locust Hill Church Cemetery at York Regional Municipality.
My great-great Grandfather, William David Ferrier was born in 1809 or 1810 in Ontario. He died in 1890 and is also buried at Locust Hill Church Cemetery.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you.

Mary Humphrey
Margaret Green Pollard
My great-grandmothers name was Margaret Binsted Pollard (Binsted her first married name) (Pollard her second married name). She was born May 22, 1863 and died Apr 24? 1954.

She was also connected to Grimsby through family stories about a peach farm.

If these are in fact the same person I assume Green is a maiden name.

However, my great grandmother is buried in Toronto and I have confirmed this with the cemetery as she is buried with my grandmother.

Is this too much of a coincidence or are these the same person?
