Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm very interested in genealogy and willing to do photo requests for the St.Catharines, Thorold, Niagara area (Canada only). Looking for any Lanteigne headstones anywhere in North America and also Lanteigne soldiers buried in Europe (war vets)Also looking for old Lanteigne family photos. Already have over 1000 Lanteigne or Lanteigne related headstones in my archives. Keep in mind , there are name variations that I also include in my archives. Names include Lantiegne, Lanteigne, Lantaigne, Lantagne, Lantain etc...I have begun using the beta upload tool and it's working out great. If you are transcribing any of my photos, please send me edits to link husbands, wives and children together. Thanks in advance and happy grave hunting

RE: Leonard Lanteigne
The area where Leonard's marker should be has empty spaces, in an area that appears filled. The office has a record of him so a marker could be placed. If he served in the war a military marker may be an option.

Thank you - I have moved the memorial for my relative.

Re the cemetery, if you could send me the memorial number for some of the other burials, I could "find" the cemetery and make the necessary change. I "created" the cemetery as I could find nothing in that location and I believe that is the name used on the Ontario genweb listing (if my sometimes failing memory serves me right).

Ok, thank you. I'll see if I can find more information.

Barrett in Victoria Lawn Cemetery

Thanks for posting the digital image of Lyda Barrett's grave marker. I appreciate the time and effort.

I'm curious if there was a marker for her husband, my great-uncle, Herbert. The cemetery records show that he is buried there as well.

Thanks again for your help!

RE: Maryanne
Indeed Dan. And I have created the memorials just now and transferred them to you, along with memorials for Edmund J. (164207506) and Rodney J. (164207651)

RE: Maryanne
Hi Dan... They are on my list, but it did not happen this visit... Sorry! When I next go I will let you know my visit intentions, likely in September!?

RE: St.Peter and St.Paul Cemetery
Hi Dan,
Unfortunately, I live on the West coast so am not able to take pictures of burials in Bartibog NB. I am on the lookout myself for someone in the area to take photos.

Maryanne "Charlene" LeGresley Lanteigne
Hi Dan

Just an FYI - I have posted the picture for Maryanne "Charline" LeGresley Lanteigne in Saint Patrick's Cemetery. There are at least 3 other Lanteigne stones I found there and I will have them posted, hopefully, before the weekend is out.
