I'm very interested in genealogy and willing to do photo requests for the St.Catharines, Thorold, Niagara area (Canada only). Looking for any Lanteigne headstones anywhere in North America and also Lanteigne soldiers buried in Europe (war vets) Already have over 1000 Lanteigne or Lanteigne related headstones in my archives. Keep in mind , there are name variations that I also include in my archives. Names include Lantiegne, Lanteigne, Lantaigne, Lantagne, Lantain etc...I have begun using the beta upload tool and it's working out great. If you are transcribing any of my photos, please send me edits to link husbands, wives and children together. Thanks in advance and happy grave hunting|

You are welcome. You have my permission to use the photo; no credit necessary. Let me know if there is anything else that I may do for you. I apologize for the length of time you request sat there.

Thank you so much for your quick response to adding the additional data and links to my relative's memorial. Much appreciated.

Victoria Lawn Cemetery - John E O'Donnell and Wife Annie I found them on the findagrave page to transcribe and it would not submit.
I held off from deleting and went to the cemetery and transcribed again. Then I deleted the first one (the popup said 'are you sure').
The one at the cemetery would not submit either. I have checked and there are no duplicate memorials already there ? ? That was a very clear and easy one I was surprised to find it. Many are so difficult to read from some really old cemeteries, so weathered, sad and they have a long story on them. I have good eyes, just can't read what is not there. Guessing people quickly go through them. I'm using a 4 yr old 15" mac laptop, no large screen. I want to keep
Take care ...

Hi Dan ... You are sooo Welcome. I thought I would try it again and oh my what a fiasco ... Since I last wrote you I did 4 more and I have been clearing up a mess because of duplicate memorials.
This is what the dups will do, they can happen by accident, no need to scream. The system said possible duplication so I tried to back out ... Well, the photo of a flat marker that I transcribed posted on a 4 month old memorial without my name as the transcriber and no inscription. Then, a different photo of a 'Tombstone' I never saw before (that I can't read), was posted on the newly created memorial (the duplicate) with the creation date of June 27th along with my name and the inscription that went with the other marker.
I had to contact both contributors with a long story ... Find A Grave has some tech issues. I see how we need volunteers. I can't go and photograph and so I was trying to help ... people have been so cruel in keeping my family from me on here ... it's hurtful. I call them the hostage takers ; :) Someone wrote, if we don't contribute more than we manage they won't transfer. I figured my family contributes by the numbers on other contributors pages by dying.
Thank you for getting back to me ...
The Baby caught my attention.
Take care ... pure grace

Hello Dan, Regarding transcribing: The only information on the marker photo was: BABY PENTESCO MAY 3, 1953. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I did a search afterwards because my transcription disappeared. I found the Baby's Memorial. Check it out. For the baby ... with one date I did B/D same day.
I had no idea where the cemetery was located ? ? at the time. It was easy to do. I liked it. My shoulder, arm, hand, neck, is in so much pain or I would transcribe more right now. What is the double link symbol on the photo in the right corner ?
Sorry ... Since this was my first time ... I don't know if there were any more by that same name as I was randomly looking and took heart.
Regards, pure grace
The quality of your photos is fantastic. It is obvious that you take great care in your work. Thank you!

Thank you Dan for the photo of the Gravestone for Maud Ida Smith. Would you be able to find the grave of James Emmett WILSON, and George Howard WILSON. They are buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Welland. Thanks again.
