I've been involved with my family's genealogy research for many years and found cemetery records - and headstone inscriptions - to be quite helpful. I also found that many of the graves of my relatives had no markers and feel that by posting those sites on Find A Grave, I'm helping to honor the memories of those deceased. Since I've also had a great deal of experience in photography, I try to help others with their genealogy research by fulfilling requests for cemetery marker images whenever possible.|
If I've created a memorial that duplicates one already in existence, it is not done intentionally. Please let me know if that occurs and I will remove mine as soon as possible.
If I've created a memorial for one of your relatives, and you'd like me to transfer management, let me know.

Thanks so much for the picture.
I am currently creating an "In Memoriam" book for the USS Sea Poacher (SS-406) shipmates that have entered their Eternal Patrol.

This has to be the quickest response I've ever had from a volunteer. I have been searching for Mario and his wife for many years and just found them. This is very exciting. Thanks for helping me complete the picture.

I was actually hoping for photographs of any surrounding Laings / Airds in that plot area. I included that request on the message I left on the original photo claim. I believe there may be more of my family buried there, but only two names (Dorothy and Marion L.) are currently listed. Sorry for the confusion.

Thank you so much for taking the time to go to the Cemetery and take the photo. Thank you also for adding the marker with her name. I really appreciate it.
|Tamara Talbott||RE: Margaret Jaeger|
Thanks for all your help Ken. I only knew from an elderly source that Margaret Jaeger's death was in the early 1960s, this narrows it down to only a few days.
And thanks also for going the extra mile(s) in looking up the plot #s for the Stumper relatives. These photos are the only ones the family have.
And in your honor, in a Pay-It-Forward kind of way I claimed some photo requests this week and was able to fulfill one, and ascertain for 2 other families that their folks do not have visible headstone in the cemetery they'd selected. This is a good time of year to do photo requests here, tick and chigger season is over and if you go early enough in the morning the copperheads are still dormant. Skeeters we got year round tho. Thanks again, Tamara
Ken B, thank you for adding this photo. Please know you are very much appreciated!
