Bio Photo If I have posted something on your memorial and you would like it removed, PLEASE ask kindly. My intent is to share info, NOT annoy you. Due to FAG rules (I was previously unaware of), I am attempting to transcribe obits I have added. Thank you for your patience.

I have free access to The Oklahoman (newspaper) online archives through my library card. Please send me a message if you want a look up!

I am looking for people in South OKC to help photograph Resthaven Memory Gardens (SW 104th & Western/Walker). Let me know if you are interested!

RE: Potts in Oklahoma
Kim-Thank you for your kind assist with offering the obituaries. They were a big help. I have found that some Cemeteries get there names changed over time, which can be confusing. I have requested a couple of photos to be obtained, for verification of location. I live in Ohio, which is just a little ways from OK.

Willie Lee Smith
Find A Grave # 76040246 (1896 - 1967) Willie Lee Smith.
Her Find A Grave memorial must have had the incorrect date of death because it read Feb. 9, 1967.... I found 1964 on one family tree on Ancestry.

You said you sent me her obit, but I have not received it yet. Please try sending it again.
As I said, I really appreciate your help. Sorry about the date of death being incorrect.
I could find nothing much on these cousins of mine until you sent the OK orbits.
Thanks bunches!

That was more that thoughtfull of you. Thanks bunches! Now the memorial manager will do their job, I feel sure. I think it is very important to have obits with Find A Grave memorials. They add lost info. Even tho Clyde was mother's first cousin Mother did not really know her. She knew her sister, Mildred Smith Mays. Therefore, I did not know who her other sisters were. We had no history about her husband. I will try to link this family together as I go forward.

Joe M. Smith was my mother's first cousin also, but he was born and died in Neodesha KA. Thanks for looking him up, just in case it my have been the right Joe.
My husband's side of the family had folks that died in Oklahoma... relatives/ancestors. I will look up the several obits we are missing and you can see if you can find them, please. It is great that you are able to do this.
My best,
