I've been doing Family research on Humecky, Joy, Cooney & Prest line for a few years now. I do enjoy the research part of this (on the Cooney & Prest side) but hate the road blocks. Which I've seemed to run into on the Humecky side. Yes I am a Humecky but my family has a secret that was apparently laid to rest with my great grandmother Anastasia Humecka Fuchik. Oh my grandfather Michael Joseph Humecky may have known but he would never reveal this truth to me, I did hear a few wild stories from grandpa but never the BIG secret, like who the hell was your real father.
So I'll trudge along & maybe stumble one day.
I do enjoy volunteering taking photos of headstones I know I haven't done a lot, work gets in the way But I promise will try to work more in close to my area.
Oh if anyone wants to take over management of all the Owen Cemetery memorials I've added let me know.
