RE: Henry Colan Magee and Stacy A. Cotton Magee
I found Henry Colan Magee's parents. They are buried in the old Dickson family cemetery in Grimes county:

Father: Daniel Magee # 38479424
Mother: Sarah Sally Allen #38479439

Since Henry worked for Dr. Dickson and his parents are buried on their land, I am assuming they were family friends.

Hope this helps

RE: Henry Colan Magee and Stacy A. Cotton Magee
William, here is what I found so far,

Henry C. Magee b: 1823, MS - 1869, Iola, Grimes County, TX

Henry married Stacey Cotton 10/22/1850 in Walker County, Texas.

1850 Henry was working for Dr. D.C. Dickson at his store as a grocery keeper, he was 27 years old. D.C. was a Dr. in town of Anderson, TX.

1860 Anderson, TX, Grimes County
Listed in the house was Henry Magee age 38, Stacey 26, Sarah b: 1856, Mary b: 857, Virginia b: 1859.

In 1870 His wife Stacey who was 36, listed as head of the household with his older son Henry who was 17 and siblings. Several of the daughters may have gone by different names, or middle names, here is who I have listed:

Henry - b: 1853, Sally or Sarah b: 1856, Mary b: 1857, Nancy or Virginia b: 1859, Farthorp b: 1862, George b: 1863, Robert b: 1866, Jack b: 1867 and Keaby b: 1869

1880 Grimes County, Anderson
Head of household Henry Magee, Jr (26)
with his brother Farnthorp (17) and mother (46).

send me your private email, I have a photo of their stone.

Henry Magee
Let me make sure I am searching the correct one. Henry Magee b: 1823,MS - died before 1870, TX?
wife: Stacey Cotton Magee, b: 1833, MS - died around 1887, TX
children: Henry, b: 1852, Sally b:1855, Nancy b: 1858

is this info correct?

I be more than happy to fulfill your request.
but seaside is a big cemetery with many different
sections. so if you can call and find out which
sections the grave is in, I can get the photo
to you. they do not give out info freely they
need to establish relationship before they give out any info.

sincerely

RE: Henry Reich Headstone
I'm sorry but I'm in Arizona. I took a number of photos at Rosedale on my last trip to LA but don't plan to be back there for another several months. I'm sure someone will come along and fulfill your photo request before then.
