I have always taken an interest in family tree histories. My father was an avid fan of Find a Grave and he introduced me to this site before he passed away in 2008. Find A Grave Memorial# 46644773. I am happy to be a photo volunteer for much of the Los Angeles area!|
You can feel free to use creative commons with the photos I take if you'd like to use them in your genealogy or family history projects.
-I have recently acquired many of the memorials for Hollywood Forest Lawn. I am happy to help with transfers and edits, but please be COURTEOUS and thorough if you have an inquiry or concern. I am a volunteer. If you find a memorial that I maintain, unless they are in my Virtual Family Cemetery, then I have no information on them other than their burial location.
I LOVE to find relatives and homes for the memorials I manage, so IF you see a memorial you'd like TRANSFERRED, I'm more then happy to do so, just put in the request via the "EDIT" option. (Will transfer ANY except those in my Family Virtual Cemetery). ***Also, to expedite edits please use the EDIT tab that Find a Grave has recently provided in the upper right hand corner of all memorials. "Suggested corrections" should be used for transfer requests or other edits that are not options under the EDIT tab.***
Please note, when listing random memorials, I often try to link families together to the best of my ability, using my judgment and common sense. So, I imagine some of the relationship links I have created may not be accurate and I'm always happy to update or change if you can help.
Please do not send me requests to change the entry of MAIDEN name for Males whose name origin indicates that they are LATINO. This name is often their mother's maiden name and used for lineage purposes. Maybe a suggestion would be for Find A Grave to add an entry space for this.
My family lines are Schmidt/Wassem and Johnsen/Hale. My husband's family lines are Alves/Carvalho and Bacellar/Huet.

Find A Grave Memorial# 158609012 - Anna Katherine was her name and so the middle initial, as in the photo, would be "K". We want to thank you for your work. We had been looking for our Grandparents graves and could not get a response from the cemetery. My cousin's, having both survived cancer recently, got together to celebrate and, just in time, thanks to your work, they were able to visit the graves. Mary ~(:-)

I am John's Great Great Granddaughter and I have a memorial on Find A Grave With him and his wife in the Smith Cemetery with the same headstone as you.
I took over for the Memorial for the person who original created it.
Is there a way we can merge the two or can you tell me if he is in the Smith or Fircrest Cemetery. I have attached all his Children to the memorial i maintain.

I am researching the family history of this individual and hope you will be able to help. I've had difficulty locating her birth date and place, and the names of her parents. I've also had difficulty finding a record for her marriage to Wayne Jackson. Do you have copies of these documents or can you point me in a direction to look for them? Any insight you can provide will be most appreciated.

Thanks so much for information on Alice's last name on her headstone. Your contribution of a picture of Alice's headstone on her memorial page is also much appreciated!
Once again, many thanks!
|Barry Davidson||Sidney Reston|
Hi Carolyn, dont know if you can help me but I and another family member are putting together a family tree covering the Biberfield and Wallis families, a lot of which are in the US. There is a Rifke Biberfield listed on our tree who was married to a Mr Reston. They had a child called Sidney who I believe may be the one buried at this site with his wife Pearl K Reston. Can you provide me with any information about Sidney, such as ancestors and especially descendants. I would be obliged if you could use my email address to respond?
Many thanks from here in the UK!
