Genealogy is my wife's passion; however, I enjoy it, too. I've taken my family history back many generations. My father's family is originally from France and the name was spelled "Guemann" and sometimes "Guymann." They immigrated to Ohio in the early 1850's. That is where my father was raised. He moved to Iowa, married, and raised his family.

I look forward to adding the names of my deceased relatives to this site and honoring them through the Memorials.

I am also eager to be a photo volunteer and go to local cemeteries and take pictures of headstones. (Photography is MY passion!)
