Retired 3 times, from DuPont Sabine River Works, Cain Chem. and Occidental (Oxy Chem.) Petroleum all at the same desk. One of my volunteer jobs is at Shangri La Botanical Gardens here in Orange, TX. the other is indexing genealogy data at FamilySearch including the 2010 U S Census. My favorite volunteer job though is at First Baptist Church where I am honored to serve as a deacon, (servant) assisting in the Lord's work, assisting my wife in the Missions Office where they feed needy families in co-operation with the Southeast Texas Food Bank.

I ran across this interesting law in the state of Texas. Chapter 711.041 states, "the public has a right to ingress/egress to all cemeteries for the the purposes of visit". That is also to say that "once a cemetery, ..ALWAYS a cemetery" (if bodies remain in the ground). Furthermore, Texas law Chapter 711.052 makes violations of Chapter 711.041 a Class A misdemeanor. Food for thought as you and I go out to research cemeteries and run into individuals with an attitude. Thank you John.
