|SandyE||RE: Reply to question on Mansel Whitson Hall|
Hi! In response to your question: "In reading the info I have to wonder the relevance of the text concerning the Confederate States from Wikipedia to Mansel. Can you enlighten me?"
In the first paragraph of the bio I posted for Mansel I stated: "The Kaufman County, TXGenWeb Project Site lists Mansel Whitson Hall as having been a Civil War Soldier. He is listed as "CSA" under regiment served."
Since Mansel served in the CSA I included the info from Wikipedia to describe what the CSA was.
I hope this answers your question :)

You are welcome. It is good to know we help each other find our ancestors. I have found berrys from the "sea to shining ses" Other Morrisons went west too.

No problem, Donny. I just wanted someone who loved and knew her to create her memorial and I wanted to know it would be in good hands. Geneaology and family history was important to Uncle Johnie as it is to me. It was something I could do for both of them. I'm beyond glad she has a close family member on find a grave! I know you will take good care of it. I look forward to honoring her life at her funeral.

I transferred Martha Anne Chauncey Deel to you. She was my great aunt. I am sorry for your loss. I knew she was dying and I created a memorial for her. My Uncle Johnie was very important to me and my family have good memories of her!
Peace be with you.

I corrected that marriage date...I'd almost bet without looking that the incorrect date was her parents' wedding date.
My mom's maiden name was Cook, hence the interest in the Kersh family. Good to hear from you!
