E-MAILS: Currently working on 23 Oct 2014 & newer. Please don't be offended if I haven't replied. I will get to you eventually. I prefer to work them in the order they were received, with some exceptions.
CONTACT OR CORRESPOND WITH ME: Please do not leave public messages on my Profile page if you have personal information to share or wish to request updates. If you would like to correspond with me, please utilize my e-mail address on my Profile page. Be sure to include information regarding the person about whom you wish to correspond (Memorial Number, URL for the Memorial, etc.)
EDITS/UPDATES: Please use the "Edit" tab on the memorial rather than post a public message on my Profile page. Regarding Edits; I try to keep up with these but, since no e-mail notification is sent to me automatically, I don't know when Edits have been submitted. Please be patient, I will get to them when I can.
TRANSFERS: If you would like a Find A Grave Memorial which I manage transferred to you, please let me know by clicking on the "Edit" button and then "Suggest any other correction or addition" for that Memorial and provide your relationship to that individual. If the person is in my tree and not a direct blood relative of yours, I prefer to retain management of the Memorial as it makes it easier for me to make updates and link family members.
ABOUT ME: We lived in White Lake, Aurora, SD, USA when I was born. I currently live in Eastern Kansas. I have been active in genealogy since about 1995. I am a BIG Kansas City Chiefs, Royals and Sporting KC Fan!
DNA: According to the DNA test I purchased through Ancestry.com, my lineage is (as of this writing) 100% European:
59% Great Britain
12% Eastern Europe
(Plus "Trace Regions"):
2% Western Europe
2% Finland/Northwest Russia
2% European Jewish
< 1% Ireland
LATER MIGRATION: I believe that some of my family may have been Palatines who emigrated from the Palatinate Region of Germany to Ireland and eventually came to America and others were part of the large migration of Germans from Russia (Odessa region on the Black Sea). Much of my family came through the Great Lakes with some going to Canada and most others going to WI, USA (many in Dane County, WI, USA) and then on to SD, USA, most of them settled in or near the Parkston, Hutchinson, SD, USA area.
BLOOD LINES IN MY TREE INCLUDE: Aeiler/Ayler/Eiler, Badré/Badri, Becker, Beilstein, Bourg, Buckholtz, Cremans, Daescher, Dorsfeidts, Endres, Esser, Fischer, Geraths, Gerten, Guelden, Hambloch, Hartmann, Hensel, Hohn, Jung, Kannengiesser, Klein, Koltes, Koth, Kurtenbach, Lachmund, Leder, Leischner, Leoln, Liesch, Linnartz, Lkirchen, Luy, Mick/Mück/Mük, Mueller, Nitska, Pauli, Riethmuller, Scheiffart, Schieder, Schieffers, Schumacher, Sidon, Stockhausen, Weiland, Welters, Wermers, Wiedenfeld, Wirtz & Villmow to name only a few.
GOALS: My goals are to update my family tree and to link as many family members together on Find A Grave as possible ensuring that the information provided is as accurate as possible.
CURRENTLY WORKING ON: Cleaning up the records I manage on Find A Grave (removing cemetery photos from the memorial page, adding periods after middle initials, adding military prefixes to the name, adding tombstone transcriptions, requesting tombstone photos, adding flowers, etc.)
PHOTOS: Please feel free to use the photos I have taken & uploaded! They are for the families of the departed. If you upload a photo to any of the Memorials I manage that contains any information missing from the Memorial, please let me know via the "Edit" button on that Memorial so that I may update the information.
OTHER WEB SITES: I have a U.S. subscription to, and a public family tree on Ancestry.com and also occasionally upload my tree to RootsWeb. By the way, RootsWeb gives you the ability to see your family in Ahnentafel format which is visually much easier to read and see how your family is connected!
A BIG "Thank You!" to all those willing Find A Grave volunteer members for working with me to accomplish our goals, and happy hunting!

Not sure why I did that. I'm usually so careful. It has been deleted. Happy to do it. Thanks for the notification.
Just returned fro the Black Hills National Cemetery. The grave # in the subject line is not registered in the National Registry as being located here in the BHNC. I know the loaded obit says that is the case, but he is not here. Unless you have an actual assigned location the photo request cannot be fulfilled. Please contact family to validate and update as needed.

You're most welcome! Thank you for adding it so willingly. Some people don't like to add the obits. ;-( Hope you are enjoying your day!
re: Eva Marie "Zentner" Glaser Obituary
Thank you, Debbie for providing the Obituary for this person. I have added a hyperlink to the funeral home's Web site for her memorial.

I am willing to make transfers to family members. I'm not willing to make blanket transfers of a last name. Aunts, uncles, close cousins I would be happy to transfer.
I also don't mind doing edits. I usually check a couple of times a day - almost every day.
GO ROYALS!! I read your bio on Find A Grave.

Bill, I have worked with you some on the Silver Ridge Cemetery (Billups & Grebe) near Stickney. I recently photographed the entire St. Mary's cemetery in Alexandria into which I am putting the missing memorials. Someone has started a second cemetery of the same name with only about a dozen names in it. It really should be combined with the other more complete cemetery. I have the photos you requested but you may wish to put the memorials into the full cemetery first before I add them. If you are aware of a procedure to notify find-a-grave of duplicate cemeteries you may want to notify them of the problem. I did add the photos I had taken to the people in the duplicate but since I had contact with you before I thought I would give you a chance to change the locations first. Katherine
