GOALS: My goals are to update my family tree and to link as many family members together on Find A Grave as possible.
E-MAILS: Currently working on 28 Jun 2014 & newer. Please don't be offended if I haven't replied. I will get to you eventually. I prefer to work them in the order they were received, with some exceptions.
FIND A GRAVE EDITS: I try to keep up with these but, since no e-mail notification is sent to me automatically, I don't know when Edits have been submitted. Please be patient, I will get to them when I can.
ABOUT ME: We lived in White Lake, Aurora, SD, USA when I was born. I currently live in Eastern Kansas. I have been doing genealogy since about 1995.
DNA: According to the DNA test I purchased through Ancestry.com, my lineage is (as of this writing): 100% European. 59% Great Britain, 15% Italy/Greece, 12% Eastern Europe, 7% Scandinavian, (Plus "Trace Regions") 2% Western Europe, 2% Finland/Northwest Russia, 2% European Jewish & <1% Ireland.
LATER MIGRATION: I believe that some of my family were Palatines who emigrated to Ireland and eventually came to America and others were part of the large migration of Germans from Russia (Odessa region on the Black Sea). Much of my family came through the Great Lakes with some going to Canada and most others going to WI, USA (many in Dane County, WI, USA) and then on to SD, USA, most of them settled in or near the Parkston, Hutchinson, SD, USA area.
CURRENTLY WORKING ON: The cemeteries and families who settled in the Parkston, Hutchinson, SD, USA and surrounding areas.
BLOOD LINES IN MY TREE INCLUDE: Aeiler/Ayler/Eiler, Badré/Badri, Becker, Beilstein, Bourg, Buckholtz, Cremans, Daescher, Dorsfeidts, Endres, Esser, Fischer, Geraths, Gerten, Guelden, Hambloch, Hartmann, Hensel, Hohn, Jung, Kannengiesser, Klein, Koltes, Koth, Kurtenbach, Lachmund, Leder, Leischner, Leoln, Liesch, Linnartz, Lkirchen, Luy, Mick/Mück/Mük, Mueller, Nitska, Pauli, Riethmuller, Scheiffart, Schieder, Schieffers, Schumacher, Sidon, Stockhausen, Weiland, Welters, Wermers, Wiedenfeld, Wirtz & Villmow to name a few.
OTHER WEB SITES: I have a U.S. subscription to, and a public family tree on Ancestry.com (16,000+ people so far) and also occasionally upload my tree to RootsWeb. By the way, RootsWeb gives you the ability to see your family in Ahnentafel format which is visually much easier to read and see how your family is connected!
TRANSFERS: If you would like a Find A Grave Memorial which I manage transferred to you, please let me know by clicking on the "Edit" button and then "Suggest any other correction or addition" for that Memorial and provide your relationship to that individual. If the person is in my tree and not a direct blood relative of yours, I prefer to retain management of the Memorial as it makes it easier for me to make updates and link family members.
EDITS/UPDATES: Please use the "Edit" tab on the memorial rather than post a public message on my Profile page. If you wish to correspond, please utilize my e-mail address on my Profile page.
PHOTOS: Please feel free to use the photos I have taken & uploaded! They are for the families of the departed. If you upload a photo to any of the Memorials I manage that contains any information missing from the Memorial, please let me know via the "Edit" button on that Memorial so that I may update the information.
A BIG "Thank You!" to all those willing Find A Grave volunteer members for working with me to accomplish our goals, and happy hunting!

thank you for posting memorial photo's for Carmelita & Clarence ASkins
|Thomas L. Harman||Bryant|
Thank you very much for filling my request for Billie Ray and Raymond Bryant, Jr.'s tombstone.
I was not aware of Raymond, Jr.'s birth/death and when I first found their memorials on Find A Grave, I thought it was in error due to thinking that Billie Ray was a nickname for William Raymond Bryant, Jr.
Seeing both names on the same stone clarifies the confusion and adds another family member.
Thank you again.
I do appreciate the kindness.

Thanks Bill for the monument photo. Much appreciated.
I just wanted to let you know I added the pic you requested for Charles. He is buried with his wife, "Gertie", but she doesn't seem to have a page yet so I wasn't able to attach to her :) If you are related to Charles, you may also be related to my husband :) Thanks for the adventure! Kelly Bauder

Thanks Bill for this headstone photo. Perhaps you will be able to find his wife Hester's stone too who is my husbands 1st great grand aunt.
If there is not an individual stone please at least put the Harkness monument photo on her memorial.. I will thank you in advance and I think its just super you allow photos to be used by others in their family trees.
