Thank you so much for your kind words. Sadly Cardinal Francis George just passed away this past weekend. His funeral is tomorrow. Cardinal George had the wisdom to save Our Lady of the Angels Church from the wrecking ball. The inside is beautiful. It was all restored, for free, by the trade unions. It reopened as the Mission of Our Lady of the Angels on April 14,2012. Kathy Sansonetti, Peggy's older sister, and I attended the reopening ceremonial Mass which was concelebrated by Cardinal George and Father Lombardo the new Pastor of the Mission. It was a beautiful day to say the least. Ironically, this coming Friday I shall again be touring the Church with Kathy. Peggy's name, as well as 91 children and three nuns, are on a memorial to the left of the church, as you enter the building. Again thank you so much for your kind words! May God bless you always! Jim
Hi Debbie...No need to thank me sweetie...this is what we do on this sight..but you are welcome. I will add you to my friends list, that way I can visit your angels often. BELIEVE ME....I tried to get Michael a marker or headstone. They told me at the cemetery that Michaels's father has the right to it. When Michael passed...NOBODY ever went back. Since then...which was over 40 years ago..Michaels's father passed as well. I can do NOTHING..it still breaks my heart.
Take good care.....Gloria

Thank you so much for your kind words back on April 12th. I find life to be wonderful if we only follow our hearts. If we stop always worrying about what people can do for us and instead, stop to smell the roses as they say, and start to care for others. I thank you so much for your thoughts about my dreams as a child. Trust me, THEY were very scary! If you ever saw the Alfred Hitchcock movie Vertigo. My dream, at the end was very much like the ending of the dream that James Stewart had when he is fell at the end of his dream from the bell tower. In my dream, I was truly blessed! Every time, Peggy came to save me! I know, today, that there was a reason for the reoccurrence of the dream. It was to point me in the right direction for the rest of my life! Just like Little Peggy, maybe Little Georgie is trying to reach you as well. I thank God everyday for that horrid dream because without it I would have never known Peggy. Peggy has brought, love, peace, and joy into my life. I pray that Little Georgie does the same for you! May God Bless you always! Jim

Hey Debbie - Now that's more like it!!!! The snow is beautiful
but enough already, right? Glad you can get out 'n about
and enjoy living once again friend. :-) Hugs, Jean Ann
I actually remember seeing little Georgie's memorial before I joined findagrave (it was a research tool) and I remember reading it and being really saddened. Boys haven't really changed over time. Seeing a link to his memorial in your page reminded me to leave a flower. :)
And thank you, very much! I've got so many stray family pictures lying around, and their memorials seemed so lonely. I'm so grateful for everyone who's left flowers for them.
Thanks so much for your encouragement, flowers, and everything else you do!
