I was born in Laurens County, GA in 1951, now live in Donalsonville,Seminole County, GA(my husband's hometown), moving here about 4 yrs ago from Tampa, FL(1966-2006). I started genealogy in 2009, after my mother passed away. I had some family info and realized that we were losing memories as well as family. Some of the family from Laurens County settled in Irwin, Tift & Berrien counties. My maiden name is Gay, with connections to Howell, Clarks, Browning, & Burch. On my mother's side there are Whites, Floyd, Grimes. Register, Purvis, Hall, Tucker.(Just to name a few).

In 2012 we moved back to Riverview FL.
