I am happy to transfer, as most of my memorials are not related to me.

Please don't create memorials for living individuals (i.e., no date of death on marker) unless you guarantee you will be around to follow-up and enter the information when they pass on.

Please don't post photos of grave stones that show the month and day of birth of a living spouse. Use photo editing software to blur out this information. Let's not abet ID thieves.

RE: #111372589
Hi Emery,
Thank you for your "leg work" on this. I live in northern Warren County and rarely make it over to the Blascoe Library. I should make more effort as my family has extensive history there. I think I told you that Iola was my step-grandmother, and that I recently learned that my mom was briefly married to one of her sons. (A step-brother!!) Mom never told us of this before she died last year.
Spring is in the air. Enjoy grave-finding!

I note that you listed Iola M. Uplinger #111372589 as having "Hardinger" as a previous name. Since this is not on the stone, I was wondering how you came upon this info. She is the second wife of my maternal grandfather, Jacob Uplinger. Did you know her or are you related to her? I am seeking information about her three sons, who would be my mother's step-brothers.

RE: SLOANE - Holy Cross Cemetery
Hi Emery, Thank you again. I am really grateful for all your work. The Hilda Karre was Gordon's wife at the time of his death.I am somewhat surprised to find her buried next to Gordon because she remarried after she moved out West. I have been trying to locate the newspaper article that was front page the day he we was killed at work. I guess it is too old and perhaps not archived.
You need not transfer the memorials to me because a month from today I will be 90 years of age
I do have a question for you though. Do you know if my brother ever managed to get the memorial headstone for my father or for that matter Gordon's ever placed at their graves. My brother William is buried at Leavenworth National Cemetery and, of course, his headstone was provided. He was the person responsible for the other's headstones but it was not a priority for him.

Memorial Contributions
Hi Emery,
I wan to thank you so much for putting the memorials of my parents Earle and Lillian Barrett Sloane on this site. Also that of my sister, Helen Marie Sellhausen. You will see that no one informed me of her death but I did find that she died in Waushara but I had no idea that she was buried in Holy Crosse.
Now, if you can do one mor big favor and that would be to add my brother GORDON GEORGE SLOANE whose burial is in Block 21, Lot:490, Grave 1.
Gordon died if a landslide at work when he was just 37 years of age on January 12, 1949. I only recently found out from a newspaper clipping that when the family was still living in Chippewa Falls, WI that Gordon at 11 years of age was struck by a truck and was not expected to live. I was not yet born and no one thought of telling me about it. Thank you again for all the good work you are doing.
By the way, I have never met an Emery before but that is the name of my great grandfather, Emery Bowen.

Hi, the above is at least one of the photo requests you have in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA. If you would call the cemetery office and post the locations, we volunteers would be happy to fulfill it. Thank you!

RE: re: Agnes Dieringer grave photo
about 50% of the row/grave area have no marker in Block 54. The lot area has a few no marker or not occupied.

About 25% of my relatives at Calvary have not a markers or one main one with no names.

I have another no marker to complete in that Block. Just need some time. They take longer.
