Bio and Links
Bio Photo My step mother started taking me to the cemetery when I was a teenager. All her family came from Patrick Co., Virginia, so they are buried up around Dry Pond or Holt Ridge. I've always loved history and found there was so much of it here in the cemetery.
My family names are:
Needham (Surry Co. NC),
Adams (Patrick Co. VA & Surry Co. NC),
Hunter (Surry Co. NC)
Wear (Blount Co. TN, Cherokee Co. AL, Bradley Co. AR, Bexar Co. TX )
Grant & Walker (SC to Habersham Co. GA)
Bowles (Green Co. GA)
Munson, Watts,Patton, Patty, Padier,Goins. (La, OK, Ato Co. TX Bexar Co. TX)
Holt, Goings, Goins, Bowman, Frye........
and many others that I do for friends and family. I have found wonderful cousins I never new I had.
I am currently working on the families of Gonzales CO. TX. Am also working on the Hillside cemetery in Cuero Dewitt Co. TX and other cemeteries in Dewitt Co.
I've been adding the census records more for my benefit but also for those looking for family members. With so many families to research it helps to keep them straight in my head.
I live in Gonzales TX and I am documenting the City Cemeteries here in town. If you have any information on people buried here I would love to add it. I will be happy to transfer any of your family over to you or take pictures for you. I'm not picky about how close a kin they were. Just that you maintain them.
I'm in Surry Co. NC and Patrick Co. VA once a year and will be happy to look for headstones for anyone while I'm up there. I also have the cemetery book for Patrick Co. VA, and the Surry Co. NC Heritage book 1 & 2 and the History of Gonzales Co. book.
Feel free to use any of my pictures or research. They are there for all to share.

Katie Radford Dalton
I think this is my Katie Radford that I am looking for. My Katie Radford was born in Nash County August 12, 1912. Her parents were Mary Stevenson, but everyone called Mary by her nickname of Tommie and William Davis "Willie" Radford. I was told my Katie married a Dalton but no one could remember his name.

Are my Katie and this one the same?

RE: Goodenough
Today was very nice compared to Friday and Saturday. I went to get the locations and decided to capture the headstones. Glad I did. It was nice.

WOW! I cannot thank you enough for this "proof of burial" photo. It confirms what I had long thought to be true. It really helps to have this. I appreciate the time and effort it took to do this.

Sarah Wear McReynolds
Hi Cindy,

I see on your profile thru the memorial of David Milton Wear that you are a part of the Wear family of Blount County TN. I am interested in learning more about David's sister, Sarah Wear McReynolds. I have a Blount County TN court record from 1837 that shows my great grandfather, Alexander Farr (Fair), at 1 yr and 11 months, was indentured to Sarah's husband, Robert McReynolds. My cousin and I have reason to believe that Sarah and her family had a connection to Alexander's family, and that is why the indenture took place. Alexander is my brick wall, and we only have this court record about his childhood as well as passed down info from older family members that Alexander was a bond boy in TN and knew no family. I would appreciate talking with you a bit by email to see if you have any information that could shed some light on this, if you would please. I would love to hear back from you.
