Sounds like you have a lot to put in. I am currently on a road trip. We flew to Cincy and spent a couple days with friends. Visited Gettysburg & the area in Maryland my mother-in-law came from. Off to DC and will be in Virginia near the NC border tomorrow evening. Doing a circle road trip to hit places we haven't visited. Then a few more days in Cincy visiting family. Then home. I did get to visit my sister, brother & father's graves on Thursday. But did not have time to do any photos. I do miss walking Cincy cemeteries.

Nothing like re-purposing the older buildings!!!! That was part of history.

Yippee!!! Thank you very much!!!! You got it. Nothing like a little bit of digging. There is definitely no "I" in team work. I love it when we can work together to get the correct information for the correct person, and be able to make the connections. I was concerned that I had not actually found the correct person.

This is some of the information that I found on her-
1920 United States Federal Census about Lormza Higgins Sr.
Name: Lormza Higgins Sr.
[Louisa Higgins Sr.]
[Lorenza Higgins Sr.]
Birth Year: abt 1869
Home in 1920: Cincinnati Ward 17, Hamilton, Ohio
Street: Freeman Ave
Relation to Head of House: Boarder
Marital Status: Single
Father's Birthplace: Ireland
Mother's Birthplace: Ireland
Employment Field: Wage or Salary---
The information seems to fit. The "Sr." seems to mean Sister. Date of Birth- Jan 1867, and Johanna was her Birth name. If you could gain access to her obituary, or a Death Certificate--that would be a help, unless they do a renaming of the person, reflecting the death of the earthly name changing it to the adopted name of the Sister. I have no idea where your Health Department might be located-if I need the parents names or other information, I go to my local Health Department and fill out the form for a Death Certificate---NO--I do not purchase the Certificate--I get a "look see" at the Document, which is then shredded after I have written down the info I was after-providing it is readable. Sneaky, but sometimes it works-information not in the obituary. Sorry to be so wordy, but I get my point across. I even looked in my Rutherford B. Hayes Ohio obituary site to see if she might happen to have any information for her--nothing. It was a shot in the dark.

Sometimes adding the Census information helps with factual information, sometimes, not. But, I thank you.

I was just wondering why you transferred her page to me. I did not request the transfer, nor am I family. I have no problem with the transfer, but was happy to have the page. Thank you.

Thank you for your assistance. They are my great grandparents. Robert was their son who died there. I had thought he had been buried there. If you could check the graves and those adjacent just in case the records are incomplete. I really appreciate your doing this for our family. Thank you so much.

I have family members here, and have had photo requests up for awhile. Will you be in a position to help me? I would greatly appreciate this.
|Connie Carl||David Cosbey|
I want to thank you very much for the photo of David Cosbey's gravestone. I really appreciate it. Connie
