I have only created memorials or manage memorials that are family, either by blood, or by marriage. I am not creating my family tree here as I use Ancestry for that purpose. I am not about numbers, or controlling other people's memorials. I've published three books on our genealogy & am working on the fourth. I DO NOT MAKE ONE PENNY.
I've been visiting gravesides since I was a little girl with my grandmother & mom. I try to add a picture whenever possible so that as much info can be documented about them. Many nice people have shared info or even transferred memorials. I don't mind sharing info with others & only respectfully request that others add updates when new info is communicated. I wish that when requesting the update(s) that there was a comment section on the same screen so that a separate 'suggestion' & email could be combined. If anyone needs further explanation of a requested update, please ask. I only ask for updates on people who are in my research sphere or tickles the fringes of it.
It is a goal of mine to connect the family members & to link them together as much as possible. Many family members can only be joined in cyberspace. I appreciate everyone's work & dedication to this site. Thank You!
Photos portraits or scrapbook pages I have posted are copyrighted as they have been published in my book(s). They may be used for private use. Please do not post on other web sites. All grave photos may be used as desired without credit. I am hoping to connect with other distant family members.
Please contact me if you are family, see a typo, would like more info, or would like to share info. I have no problem transferring a memorial to a closer family member.
#150842091 Bravo, Eve! Thank you for giving me the lead on who Susan might be. The cemetery record I used didn't have any other information on her other than her burial location (and had two different spellings for Harp). Fortunately, the record also had John Henry's plot information. Surprise, surprise, they were buried together.
I did a bit more research and added it to her page. If you would like to manage her profile, I will happily transfer.
By the way, if they were part of the Reoganized Latter Day Saint church (Lamoni was a stronghold), the Temple library at the Community of Christ Church may have her obituary or other information on the couple. You would have to pay a small amount for them to research for you, but it is worth it! If you are in Independence, MO, you can do it for free.
Also note that her birth year on her death certificate is different than what you have.
Sean Junue HARP DENNIS Hi Do you know the circumstances this persons death? I have that her daughter , at age 29, died the next day. Also, do you know of anyone doing HARP research? If so, please send them my way. Thanks.
William Taylor (at Ivy Lawn, Ventura, CA) Eve, I am not related so transferring his memorial to you. Must have been a connection request that linked him to his parents. My mother is buried at Ivy Lawn, so some years ago took quite a few photos, including the one for William. Happy Genealogy Trails.
Christian A Bergh I'm greatgrandson of Andreas Bergh that imagrated from Kongsberg, NO, to Mondovi, WI area township of Naples and the grandson of Martin Bergh . I have lots info information but have only that Christian was in CA and was buried there. Christian was the uncle to my father Clarence and brother of Martin. I have most of the Bergh family grave site photoed and info fot and d info. I was lucky to have seen the family Bible of Martin and Karren Bergh where she had recorded the birth and death babtism dates on a page in front, AS uncle Milo had the Bible and we had to use it for my father to get his birth certifcate for passport to go to Norway.as the Drammen Luthuren Church had burned and all record were lost Takk.
