Bio

In 2009 I picked up the hobby of genealogy. I have since been on the most amazing journey of triumphs, ups and downs, mysteries, curves, battlefields, circles, and dead ends.I am thankful for the time, effort, and dedication of those who contribute to Find a Grave. The genealogical journey has taken me to such places as Kentucky, California, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Illinois. My linage includes the surnames Stevens/Stephens, Moyer, Fullen, Davis and related lines on my husband's side AND Poole/Pool, Ford, Barnett, Elliott, and related lines on my side.

I will admit that I am not perfect and I do make mistakes. Early on in this journey I was easily led down the wrong road and have since learned to check the accuracy of my information before assuming it to be fact and posting it publicly. According to Find A Grave the purpose of the site is to register graves BUT "The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away"...and I will do my very best to meet that goal in spite of any obstacles.

All correction, edits, and biographical information should be submitted through the EDIT tab on the memorial. Please include a source or documentation for all edits as I will not edit without a source. Biographical edits should submitted as "suggest other correction or addition". Also note that managers have 30 days to perform the edits and may choose to approve, deny or ignore edits received.

Transfer request should be made using the EDIT tab and the "suggest other correction or addition". Transfers will be made within FAG guidelines unless the individual is a direct descendant of mine. (To date 6/2017 I have refused only one transfer) As for those memorials that I indexed in the LAKEWOOD MEMORIAL PARK I am willing to transfer them to relatives outside of the FAG guidelines.

Photos posted to FAG are copyrighted by the member who submitted the photo, however now that FAG is part of a larger ancestry community such photos can now be shared and reposted to other sites. Please be diligent and respectful in giving proper credit/copyright when using FAG photos. If I have submitted a headstone or marker photo feel free to use it for your own genealogy purposes without further permission. Any personal family photos I have submitted require written permission to use. PLEASE be sure to get my written permission before you copy, save, repost, print, publish or alter my copyrighted material (photo).

Flower and Notes should not include obits, edits, or insensitive and disrespectful content. Please honor all those who rest in this online cemetery forum by leaving proper sentiments.

Again thank you to all the contributors that make this site possible.
