This memorial does seem to be the same person as mine (Evelyn Johnston) at Sandlick. I will delete mine. Thanks.....

Greetings. Your edits are welcome. But could you give me the source of the information?

Look at grave photo and you will see part of an iron CSA cross.

I have searched for your Lucas requests in Pearisburg today and about 6 months ago. The only stone I can find is the one that is posted for Wiley. The stones in the immediate area of his are Johnston & Emmons. The area behind his has no markers. I searched the rest of the cemetery, as well. I have photos of the surrounding area where Wiley is buried. I can email you those if you would like.

Thanks for the transfer, again.
The "b" in Hamlin didn't drop at a fixed point; some used it, others didn't; some flipped back and forth. Other spellings of the Hamlin name include: Hamblen, Hamblin, Hamblyn, Hameline, Hamelinn, Hamelyn, Hamlen, Hamline, Hamlyn and Hemblen.
I have never been to Giles County but sure have a lot of relatives in VA.
Best regards, Karl
|Sandy Bowthorpe Mariano||Fletcher Family|
James, I wanted to thank you for having the heart to take pictures of the grave site where my family is buried. It makes me so sad that these grave sites, have gone uncared for. If I lived closer I would do something about that.
Rowland Fletcher is buried here as well as a few of his family. Even though their graves, will be gone one day, they will always live in our hearts, and we will meet them.

Sorry! I know nothing about how to do that.

Joseph Thomas “Joe” Vest and wife Izola Furrow Vest had two babies – a newborn and a 15-month old -- die in November 1918.
Vest, Earl K (Memorial 59283713)
b. Aug. 4, 1916 d. Nov. 17, 1918
Vest, Mabel M. (Memorial 59283823)
b. Nov. 6, 1918 d. Nov. 30, 1918
Most of the family obits list Earl and Mabel among the siblings. I can’t find a birth or death record for either. But I’ve talked with a family member who confirmed that Earl and Mabel buried in the Simmons Cemetery are children from this Vest family.

Can you confirm that Cora Pearl Cook Brown memorial 46123634 is buried at Huntersville AR Presbyterian Church Cemetery? Death certificate says she is buried at Prosperity AR Presbyterian Church and there is memorial 53387677 for her at that church? Thanks for the help.
