Originally from East Tennessee, I am a member of the National Allanson-Allison Family Association and actively gathering family history and photos of gravesites of my ancestors, mostly in Western North Carolina and East Tennessee. I am also a member of the Transylvania Genealogical Group, the Transylvania County Historical Society, the Loxahatchee River Historical Society, the Blount County (Tennessee) Genealogical and Historical Society, the Old Buncombe County (North Carolina) Genealogical Society and First Families of Old Buncombe.

I am a mechanical engineer by training and a computer programmer, but nearing retirement. I have gotten very much involved in my family history research and will be keeping an eye as I travel for photo requests for cemeteries that I will be visiting.
