I am writing this for my mother Emilie.
She would like to know if you can transfer her husband to her #47535332.
We would like to add something about his death to the page.
Thank You Darlene Barney
Thanks for the H/S photo!
|HC Hughes||RE: William Shepard #87464063|
Good question! The grave photo I uploaded for William Shepard was very definitely taken in Block 12. If you take a look at #144017272 Edmond Shepard, you'll see that I found his headstone in that same area... northwest corner of Block 12. William & Edward Shepard's headstones are even of the same style as William & Laurena Wadsworth's.
The documents on the eCIMS site indicate that the western half of lot 64 (bordering on Governor Street) was owned by Mary F. Wadsworth, and the eastern half by A.J. Shepard. But given my GPS coordinates and your original note about where William Shepard's stone is in relation to Wadsworths, I'm thinking that William Shepard's headstone must actually be in the space labeled Block 12, Lot 64W, Space 5 (or very close to it).
Now you've got me curious... what's the connection between the Wadsworth and Shepard families? Is there really another William Shepard (who died the same year) buried over in Block 5? And how the heck did I make it home without a single photo for Frank Wadsworth, Albert Shepard, Mary Shepard, or Carrie Shepard?
Thank you for helping out with this. Helped me to properly identify an additional spouse. Thanks again.

It's actually been up for awhile......I had created another memorial for Dora and because yours had her maiden name, the tool that searches for duplicates missed it! So I deleted mine and added the photo to yours :)
