Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a LDS (Mormon) member looking to help people locate their loved ones in Chesapeake, Portsmouth and Suffolk, Virginia, and near Silver Spring, Maryland.

I have used this to trace my family from VA, to CO, to NY, back to CT thanks to other members.

For those requesting pictures that I have fulfilled, you may use them freely without having to contact me. I do ask that credit be given if the picture is to be published.

To request a transfer, please use the "Edit" tab of the memorial and making a request for transfer with your member number.

Linking siblings
The only way to link siblings is through the parents.
If you know the parents memorial Number - you can either enter it on the individual, or if you don't have the child, you can request the links to the parents under the "edit" tab of the child.

If you don't know the location of the parents - the only other way is to embed the link in the bio.

If you are tech-savy - there are directions under the "Help with Find a Grave" on linking with an embeded code in the "bio section". I have not gotten far enough to manage this but others tell me it is easy.

Mr. Colby,

Thank you for posting my father's obituary.

However, Chattanooga Tennessee is located in Hamilton County...not Hancock County. At your earliest convenience, I would appreciate a correction.

I am a fellow genealogist...

Thank you for linking Irene Williford #110680670 to her parents.

I would be pleased if you would read my Bio and visit my parents' memorials by clicking on their links.

Thanks for any flowers you have strewn through the virtual burial grounds for our departed.

RE: Howard Hardcastle
Joe, yes, I served from 1971 to 1993 and spent 2 wonderful years at Camp Lejeune with 2d MarDiv, 1975-1977. Always regretted not getting the blessing of putting that uniform on again.

Thanks for the transfer!

Michael

Semper Fi and Happy Birthday next week!
